fyros main since i started.

wish we could lose the sideburns though

I have a hunch there's some bias in the poll. My game experience hasn't really given any indication 44%, almost half, of players are Fyros

I'd assume the title of the thread, "Who plays a Fyros?" has a tendency to attract those players in particular to click on it, while others pass over it.

Pyr benefits from an abscence of rainfall, after a decade or two you cant even notice the smell (as long as no one spills anything), but scholars are still debating whether thats from the material drying out, or simple trauma to the olfactory organs.

Matisian living tree dwellings are so far superior to the fetid squalor the Fyrosians call home, there is just no comparison.

Well, we all know that only yucky stuff like bugs, spiders and pale maggots live in dead tree stumps...

if you wanna live in something made from wood, create logs and panels like the Zorai do.

About the Fyros: i like them quite a bit, i only wish they would more often take a bath.

Last time I checked, Pyr was the only place with a bath house....

Hi Beau,

Thought I would tell u about me being a Fyros.

I adore being a Fyros, I love the armour, I love the desert and I love the freedom it gives...a lot of open spaces to explore.

I am by no means a roleplayer but being back in Fyros, Pyr or Dyron is my home. When I finish work this is the place I want to log into, sick I know, but hey. It was the place where I started as a newby and will be the place where I will leave for good. In all this time I will always be a Fyros and would not change it for the world.

I love being a Fyrozian, I loved it that much that I got to 100 fame in Fyros, because I joined Nexus who are affiliated to Tryker the max I can get now is 50 so it is capped so I lost half of the fame straight away (a small penalty for being with such good friends ).

It is a fantastic place for anyone to lvl, it has always someone in reach of a rez by Fyrozians or other races.

The only downside to Fyros IMHO is the Flaming Forest. When it is daylight it is dark and can be an unnerving experience whilst digging down there (not as bad as PR I might add before the trolls kick in).

The Cuttlers seem to like the dark and strike at the moment when you are just about finished on gaining the last mat from your source but can be easily killed with fire and mpa and a bit of luck.

I started playing Ryzom back in November 2004 and in that time I have seen many a player go, myself included, but they always come back at some time or another.

This game is like the love you lost because you were bored with her and wished she were better, then you play around and find that she was the best and come back and start all over again.......

(I know what you mean)

Never played Fyros myself though, I like to come and visit Pyr... but I wouldn't trade the forest autumns for the desert.
