Apology accepted. I just didn't get why a newbish question in a subforum marked 'newcomer welcome' would be "loooool" but its no big deal. I know from other posts and your podcast that you are working to make this a great community.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet but, you will be relieved to know that after you leave Silan (new players isle) you will not have to deal with missions all that much on the mainland. They are plenty you can do but, on the ML they are for either Faction, race or tribe fame points and some minor amount of dappers (our money). M
Many players from mission driven games take a bit of time to adapt to being free to do what you want and when you want.

Just sit back and enjoy the journey. Ahead of you are lands and regions within those lands that will have you enjoying yourself for quite sometime.

There's no coding involved and Ryzom's scenario editor is not as advanced as NWN's toolset. In the hands of the right person it can be a nice tool/toy though.

Thanks, I found it (they have a new site) and its pretty helpful.

I'd recommend other newcomers take a peek (although is revealing the whole skill tree spoilerish?), it helped me grasp this.
