This is true. But, the same goes for Elite Assassin or Executioner; you can assassinate or execute someone with just about any weapon. Sharpshooter; you can be a sharpshooter with a pistol too. Avatar of Destruction; a launcher does more destruction.
And so on. If we want awe-inspiring titles, we have to accept that they won't be very accurate. Having to specify 'Master of the Two-handed Sword' or 'Avatar of Destruction through Elemental Magic' just ruins it.
As for the shaman, I think we've already had mention of shamans on Atys in some stories, though I'm not sure.

I quite like my Master of Torment/Master of Life etc etc.. Magus doesnt sound as good, and I am glad they are keeping the lvl 250 magic titles unchanged. Mage of Miracles is particularly sucky.
A lot of this seems to be change for the sake of change, without being relevant to what players actually want ie titles for ALL magic/ ALL jewels or HA or LA, all Lands..
Maybe its just me not being impressed by excess adjectives, but if Reaper is not used for any lower level axe title, why is a level 250 a 'crimson' reaper ? - is it because reaper sounds weak on its own ?
The idea of taking away the Master titles from level 201 magic was to be consistent with other skill trees, but now only 3 melee skills use master. Why not use Elite (fancy weaponuser name) for the level 250 titles. then make it consistant with magic, and level 201 titles are Master.
There really isn't a need for magic and combat titles to correspond to forage and craft titles so a Master Forest forager isnt a relevant comparison to a master heavy axeman, nor a master of destruction.

Still the Master of ..... titles imply u mastered the skill while that in fact isnt true, tho Mage of Miracles just sound euhm.... not good at all

Yes and no: i agree on the basic but on the other side, is real great to have master at 200 and a real good title at 250..
Do not change master of life but please keep AOD too

originally, Master is a rank above craftsman, its not the highest possible level of skill.
