omg what horrific arrogance. The players on Cho PAY for the same game, by picking the cho server they do not desire an inferior service for their sub. The 4 servers argument is rubbish to an extent as Both Cho and Aris are served by the same team, whereas Aniro and Leanon have seperate teams.
There is no excuse for the exclusion of events for the Cho server other than Event team management and numbers, that is purely a recruiting and experience issue.
The argument of 'the team is new' 'give them time' doesn't rub too well, the players volunteering have presumeably have played (or csr'd) for a long while, and have witnessed events and them being run simultaneously on servers. Its been over 2 months since the new team was created, that is more than sufficient a period of time. there was a team of player volunteers that managed quite adequatly before with weekly events and CSRing for both cho and aris, what happened to them, after all one presumes most still play?

Do you have the same rights.....well I am sure the trading standards protect the players of Cho the same as other server populations, so you do have the same rights.
Does one server take priority over another is the question you are really asking, and only Gameforge can answer that one.
When Cho was setup there were players who said it is stretching the limited resources of the company for no apparent benefit....but players did make an alt character on there, and some new players chose to startup there....was it a success ?...again only Gameforge know the answer.
Now Cho is becoming established with it's own playerbase I can understand the frustration of not having events in unison with other servers. But again it's only Gameforge that can rectify/clarify their policy concerning Cho.
And I'm pleased to hear Cho is passionate enough about their server to speak up.

Would it be acceptable to only patch or update just one live server? Would players be happy if just the french server recieved a range fix? or just the german server a craftung adjustment? or just one of the english servers recieving content in the form of an event? It is not fair nor acceptable considering we all pay for the same service. There is no warning sign on cho saying 'this server will not recieve the same service as other servers as we don't have the time/manpower'. That would never be done with a patch/update.. would it?
Edit: for the record i don't play on Cho, but i recognise the unfairness which i find distasteful, as i do the excuses of the situation.

I'm one of those new payers who deliberately chose cho over aris. I did so because I thought it would be fun to help settle a new world that was uncrowded and where the player base was relatively fresh so that I could compete for resources from the outset. I'm having a terrific time and have no regrets. I think the GF takeover and attendent issues have slowed the population development down somewhat but I have faith that the cho server will ultimately grow and become self-sustaining. The cho people will support events - the Senator Dios treks were well attended and enjoyed by all and brought a needed sense of community to the server. While I support Mok's basic plea, I can be patient as the really great group of players on cho gives me that sense of community that I got from the group events. We'll be ready when you are GF.

I have heard of other players choosing Cho for its "frontier" environment, where raw survival is more of a challenge.
Think about it.
The high cultural events happen in the established, civilised areas. The arts flourish in developed cultures. Quite simply, more interesting things happen in more developed communities.
Out on the edge they do Linedancing instead
By choosing a less developed server the players have opted for a more primitive cultural environment and should not be asking for the same events as the more mature communities.
By all means they should be getting events suitable for their level of advancement, but more along the lines of "Ugh, we have infestation of headlice, everyone must get haircut zero" than political intrigues and global conspiracies

What i basicly meant was that we need a event to bond over together, im very aware about the differences in servers and their local things. First of all this post wasnt ment as a rant towards the CSR's since i acknowlidge they have a hard job and yes ill send in a volunteering mail after things settle to a more easy way of things in my RL... though i still feel we need an event! We might be a third world server to u all but that doesnt imply we dont have rights to events to help our server grow... as for a starter i still dont understand why we never had a build temples event... they are just copied from Aris.... wich is strange since Kami rule Cho.
To most of u Cho was the biggest mistake made in Ryzom history but u will need to learn to live with the fact that there are other Homins in another realm who needs something to be proud off, as said earlier, to look back at and say: wow we did that!
Understand that if u choose to keep bashing Cho and keep saying we shouldnt complain ur missing the basic point i made.... how low the income may be, we 2 make it possible for Ryzom to continue with the monthly payments we bring in.
Regards
