but, it seems Ma-duk has misplaced his Bib, Jena-duk can't find her purse and her hair isnt _JUST RIGHT_ yet, and the dragon got one of his spines stuck in the cliff and is trying to wiggle his way free - all to no avail, i'm afraid :/

The book has been shut after the episode 2 event (unless you count the RP events that have followed but to me those are just a small paragraph) and the storytellers have left the book to rot on a shelf. I beg GF to pick it up and open it at the page where the story was left. Because it's Ryzom's biggest asset. Because the story is unique. Because an unfinished story is as depressing to me as the loss of a ring, or any precious object.

Amen to that. Content is needed - its all very well living in a sandbox, but we need at least some new toys to play with

I agree with Kuroari and Meloner. Please continue the SAGA! For me, the proposed changes to crafting and ranged fighting is not half as important than bringing life *) back into the game.
*) of course this is relative. I tried to quit and play other games, but Ryzom with a paused storyline is still more of a living world than the other games I tried.

I agree that the storyline must progress, but realistically i would rather that it progress in small chunks a little at a time while they fix bugs and refine/revamp "broken" gameplay mechanics.
