The idea of make an sound override directory could be great... and maybe easy to implement.

I'd like to change some sounds. The cow sound is ok for bodocs, but I can't see in a Arma. Some Hiss-like sound, like a great (Even if paceful) lizard could be great.

And well... all the kittins should have more insect-like sounds, that's for sure.

I wish I could, I no longer have it. However, if you ever come across a copy of the Multi-media CDROM "Annabel's Dream of Ancient Egypt" you will be satisfied to know that as far as I know "yours truly" provided all feline interjections.

Fairhaven Calevin, the Fiend of the Fell.

It's true, kipees have not yet learnt the art of a capella, but they do seem to know about synchrony. Credit given where it is due :) .

I agree there. The burning sword is the most annoying thing for me, WAY over and above irritating herds of Kips or Yelk. Now that really should be done away with asap.

The FH music reminds me of the dancing dwarves in Spinal Tap :S

One thing.

Did you ever realize that your Charakter only screams if you use the +dmg stanza? (Not sure atm about "attack after", but i think not.)
If you use others it´s rather silent.
So it´s your own fault if he/she screams all day long. :D
Just use other stanzas than max.dmg all the time.
It helps keeping stamina up and the volume down ;) *LOL*

That's beautiful. Maybe I'll be able to enjoy that music for a little while by keeping that in mind.

I really like the idea of being able to disable specific sounds. To me, the big problem seems to be the huge volume discrepancy between the various tracks, Kipee being one of the most obvious perpetrators of making my eardrums bleed. I spent many a day in Pyr as a young Fyros, and never had trouble tuning out the music there to listen to other sounds, but am horribly annoyed every time I go to FH simply because it is too loud.

A bonus side-effect of being able to disable sounds is that the devs could immediately tell which sounds need attention, since they could look at our files and see that 95% of us have disabled certain sounds.
