You should also note Riv, That the Kami have been fighting to regain an even standing, Kara won far more battles then Kami have, Yet Kami never gave up, That why Kami have more declares then Kara, 85% *atleast* of the Kami attacks were in Zora and Fyros, All of which are just trying to take what the Kara took in the first place.

I am against any break In OPs personnaly, If you want a break, take one, No one can stop you, But if there are people having fun, Why should they stop?

This multi Declaring coward tactic is the thing I disaprove of most atm...

Yep, kudos to those who never gave up. :)

No, actually 30 of the 59 attacks have in Matis or Lakelands. You may have missed them since 30 of the 59 attacks have occurred since mid-December and many in the Matis or Tryker lands were off-hour "harassment" attacks or multi-declaration attacks.

Favorite Spots for War Declarations (from both sides since May 1st):
8 Gu-qin
7 Malmont
6 Fount Porch
6 Lost Valley
6 Woodburn Stronghold
5 Finders farm
5 Zo-kian
4 Wooky

P.S. There were at least 5 miscellaneous neutral or non-KA battles I didn't count in the 59 and 16 also.

That's a bit ridiculous in a few ways. First: If there are people wanting play, then there will be play. OP Battles are part of the fun, so while there are people wanting to do it, I don't see the point in a break.

Second, I have to assume that the fact of this post just after first battle in more than a month when the kami band get a bad result is just coincidence.

Only thing I can think about this is that this call for break is no more than a strategy of war. And it have to be taken like that.

But, as many people have said... noone forces noone to take part in OP Wars. Is as tired for Kara than for Kami.

Look guys. I simply posted a suggestion because I am tired of hearing people whine at me about defense times and attack times. Me and a karavaneer were talking and it sounded like a good idea. I didn't say it had to be passed, only that I thought it would be a good idea.

Acridiel you had no right to jump on me for posting that simple idea, especially since (to my knowledge) all you know about our server is what you get from here and talking with Beau on the podcast thing. Next time, kindly take your sarcasm elsewhere? I am a constant force in all PvP on the server, and lately a leader a most outpost battles. I dont (purposefully) whine like I see both sides doing. Wanting to shut people up for a while sounded like a damn good idea.

The karavaneer I spoke to talked about finally getting time to master his crafts if we had an OP break, that sounded lovely. Excuse the hell out of me for thinking of other people.

Two points here I think:
1) Anyone can do SOMETHING in an OP battle, and have lots of fun. Heck, even just healing for 100 or 200 can make a difference, or giving sap, or even distracting the enemy. Having said this, I AM thankful to all the VERY nice healers out there. :)
2) WHy don't you take this opportunity to draw up a peaceful, binding, treaty. It can used for the roleplayers, there could be a ceremony, but all parties could agree to stick to it. Even if it is for a limited time, this community can police itself pretty darn well, so I think it should be tried.

EDIT: As I think more of this, I think it could be done. Say all guilds involved (forgive me my knowledge of War politics is a lil rusty) send their leaders and we all meet in a city. Some neutral party (or maybe even a CSR?) could read the treaty out loud, and the leaders could swear to stick by it, say for a month. Peace would come to the land, for now. Guilds could get more players into their ranks...I think it could be done.

Keiko I dont think he was being sarcastic to you, seriously, unless I am mis-reading it. And please, don't take this response as a flame to you...I just wanna make sure that you, my friend, and my other friend don't have a misunderstanding. :)

All respect for Reapers from this point of view. But we weren't attacking Reapers so didn't expect same treatment in defensive time.
After reflection, I feel I should answer this inaccurate slur as well. Obviously, you did not know that the defense would be at 3 am. You attacked (for Friday 8 am - 11 am in the US) without warning leaving AA with a hour and a half to decide whether to make a simultaneous counterattack. AA chose not to do so. If you had attacked at a nice time for everyone (Saturday evening/afternoon) and asked for a nice time for everyone for the second phase, you may well have received one. The point is moot since you did not ask.

Sorry, but this thread it about 'taking a break' not about when people declare on OPs, whine somewhere else.

arfindel wrote:... mmm yes, if I was guilded Ootn I'd love a break: just imagine. All OPs in Fyros, 2 q250 OPs in Matis, all q200 OPs in all lands, except for neutrals. But... bad luck we don't outnumber anymore...Yes of course we need a break, we need to grow our newbies and have some guild life :)

Btw, does this break include calling back Ootn attack upon MoM? Just to be sure.
Don't wanna join any flaming -fiesta but to clear this- we ain't warmongers- this is our first attack on OPs since implementing them...we just reacted in a way we thought as right to stop increasing kamis tide - time for attack was a bit forced by defense of LS.

Hope to be back soon :) .
