BUT, all these are really not fit for RYZOM while advertising. Let me explain why! Ofcourse Ryzom's playing still is different from other games;

why i should DOWNGRADE my standarts he says! Answer him if u can!
pls take No Offense!
No offence taken, nor mean:

Why Ryzon should downgrade their standards? There are a whole lot of factors in this game, and jumping/flying is one of the less important. Believeme, if the lack of Z-Axis is a standard downgrade for your friends, then they'll not be good Ryzom players.

For me a *real* downgrade is the instancing, the quest-driving, the fact of noone wearing a Player-Crafted Item, the fact o have a maximun of 80 players in the same place... Jumping and Flying? Ok; it's cool, but, believeme, we are speaking of other kind of importance. Z-Axis is an addition, not a fundamental.

It's simply: everyone use to promote their game of choice... surely your friends are doing the promotional labour better than you (No offence mean).

That's only really a benefit if your into big raids or big PvPer fights and we don't have too many raid like things in game, the bandit bosses are about it aren't they? If they would be intrested in outpost battles it's a good benefit though.

When I show friends big OP battles, they always get surprised. So many people in one place, no instances, no need of. For me, this is a must to. The instances ruin my illusion of a consistent world.

well, i truly understand eveything you all write, and i also give value to these things. thats why i am still in ryzom and trying to advertize it!
you can all look in technical view, you can critisize the z axis idea with technical explanations which are logical and true imo. But you just dont see an eye of a new comer! there can be coders in our comunity why ryzom couldnt have Z Axis in it, but there arent any explanation to an AvaragE mind!

i am waiting for that days, where we can fight 100 people together in server Cho, i hope i can see 100 different people in Cho server in a month(3 weeks passed, played lots of hours) by the way!

You all missing one thing! if u read carefully, i am not arguing anything, infact making offers! i am trying to develop an idea, which can give this beautiful game what it deserves! and it is new players = population, new pvp'ers, new carebears! If u tell me, we dont want new players, we only want pure ryzom fans, i can say nothing! as i said before, pls take no offense!

I would hate to see people jumping around like frogs for no reason.

That being said, I know the game wasn't built for it and it would take a tremendous amount of work to bring it in. There are additions that could make a more widespread effect on gameplay with less dev time that are more worth the effort.

I have to agree with Seh here! Another thing is that it makes PVP combat unrealistic! People jumping around shooting each other with ranged weapons or swords and spears *lol*, but if it were implimented as Seh said that there has to be an object worth jumping for it to activate would be ok! ;)

I can live without jumping, but do you know what would be even more cool?
Diving in Tryker! Imagine you could kind of catch fishes there, or forage at the grounds! Possible with both factions, kami would invent some mystical power for breathing and karavans a scuba device :D
