Its indeed sad to see another good player leave.

Well, a pity you go, even if i'm not agree with your arguments (Really, I don't use to agree with your arguments never :) ), is a bad new you going.

I had no interaction with you IG, but I've a lot in this forums; I'll miss your sarcasm, and the maestry with you can brough the Neutrals or The PvP issues to any kind of topic without it seems as OT :) . Well, no much, anyway.

God luck out there.

I think people are jumping on the defensive and getting angry with people leaving because, if too many people go, they are kinda scuttling the ship for the rest of us that want to stay.
No doubt that the csr team leaving were awesome, but i'm not that bothered about GF filling our heads with a hell of alot of empty promises, that can't be fulfilled. I can look past that, and give them a while longer to get their feet under the table first. Then we will see.
You can't stand anymore Jyudas? from your past threads, I truly have been surprised to see you about on Atys recently (the last year or so) at all.
You have my respect for your integrity in fighting to get this game to somewhere where you wanted it to be. You as well as The Samsara will be missed on Atys.

Kodel.

To answer the accusations of jumping ship...

You can only push a boulder uphill for so long before it gets to be so much effort it is no longer worth it. In the past it felt like enough of the community, and the CSRs, were pushing in the same direction and helping with the rock. Not any more.

Anyway, time to run around in game and say goodbye to my favourite places.

This is a game, there's no such thing as jumping ship. When the game isn't fun or fascinating or promising you owe to yourself to take a break and do something else. I don't think many noticed my character Ulani's absence the last few months, but it took a while to get the "feeling" back again.

I am sure you will come back when and if we get brighter news, Grim. Until then, Arispotle will miss you and Kostika and the Samsara.

philu wrote:Have to say this thread shows clearly what is wrong with Ryzom these days. The guy takes a hard step and says goodbye and you have a go at him! You should be ashamed of yourselves. It's people like you that have destroyed this community. You claim to love this game yet all you do is abuse someone for leaving instead of simple respecting their decision and saying goodbye.
Quoted for emphasis.

I'm sad to see you go Jyudas (and the many others, but there are only so many goodbye posts I can take in a day). We didn't always agree on everything but you've proven yourself a great guy and one to be remembered as one of the pillars in this community.

May the light brigthen your future paths :)

Well said. What happened isn't enough for me to consider leaving but I don't blaime other players for feeling it is enough that they want to leave.
