Just a point: Jolt and their CSRs built a very trustful reputation. Nevrax, as is, build a reputation of "promises never done". Nevrax has great words, and little facts.
I've been 6 months in game, and was strange to me see how projects and announcements from a year or more time was never released.
So, now GF have to build a new CSR team that be as good as the old one; and that will be really hard. But, in the aspect of "make their promises" GF have very easy match Nevrax. They have to do it, but, for the moment, looks fine.

i hate sounding like some snobby old player all the time o.o

but

you experienced nevrax in free fall with the wolves at the door, trying desperately to plug the holes in their sinking ship. What you missed was a small independent studio with the balls to go up against blizzard, soe, et al, persue and fight for their dream however hard it became. they loved their creation, we saw that love and shared in it. it's really the reason i played for 2.5 years.. 'broken promises' taken in context mean nothing. I have nothing against GF, i can understand with a clear head why they are doing the things they are doing - i dont think they could do anything else. The sad fact for me is the dream is dead, the only blame to place is on this stupid capitalist world we live in.

So i am taking offense at what you wrote, but in as nice a way as possible i hope :)

For the record....

Jolt is the second set of CSR's we had in Ryzom. We managed and survived. But not replacing them is a great concern, and "volunteer types" is another concern.

Waiting to see some game improvements.

PS - Vanguard is a disaster, alot of video card issues. I can hardly play it on a my new pc. And they launched the game that way, not interested.

And I hate sound like an old player (In age, not in game), but... I've seen a lot of projects full of dreams fall directly into the oblivion, because a lack of reality, because a lack of change in the appropiate moment. I was in some of thet projects, of all kind, another only see from outside.

Ryzom have his part of dream, sure, that's because we all love it, but we can choose between a death dream o a live reality. Maybe the first year and an half of Nevrax was as you say; but the last year all of it was promises and non facts; you can't deny this. And a year is a lot of time; almost the half of the time since release.

Now I going to "in development" and "Now in test" sections, and see less things, more solid things. And we know that in some weeks we'll start see changes in ranged and economy (And smaller and optimized client). I think this'll be true. If it isn't, then we'll be in the same point. If it is, we'll be a lot better.

We'll, I'm sorry of that. I'd hate when this kind of discussions go personal, and I accept your point that I'm coming here in the decadence of Nevrax.

But you have to take my point about that in six months on game (Witch is a good time to make an idea, i think) I've seen what I've seen. And, you know, the mid-term players have rigth of our own point of view.
