Sorry if that came across as a flame but in any constructive discussion of it I think you do have to take into consideration the game balance of it, if you can get the game balance somewhere that works then work on the story explenation because there is little point adding ageing to a game if it's completely unbalanced. Personaly I don't think you can have ageing and non ageing players on the same server, you'd be basicaly setting one set of players up above the others in terms of power. If you felt it was needed in the game then seperate servers with different rules on aging so that all the players on the same server work from the same base and to the same rules.clyne wrote:Well I guess it doesn't matter and everyone has their own opinion. Its still open up for constructive discussion to actually make suggestions to make it work. Than say no, no and more nos. Without suggesting or thinking better ways to make this work.
Otherwise discussion ended and I would be more than glad to request closure of the thread.
Understand that I, the person who brought it up here don't wish my characters to age - I would simply hate it if that were to happen beyond my control. The idea behind this thread is not an yes or no debate or flame but instead to find a way to make this work. We all know it wouldn't be implemented in-game. I cant see game forge too making such huge changes.
