AFAIK, at least in my country, the liquidators use to take several negotiations at a time. That, usually, makes the decisions be taken the last day.

So this is normal, and, IMHO, not a bad nor good new.

No nerves, Surely tomorrow afternoon we'll have the news. I only hope they don't bring more uncertanity.

If Nevrax hears from the "liquidator" (have no clue what that is) and what they hear is the good stuff, how long until we that are stuck on Silan can set foot on ML? Would that be before or after the end of 2006? ( Just wondering if I should set aside money for that case. )
Can't give an exact date on that yet, but common sense would suggest that whoever takes over would make restoring the billing and allowing players to upgrade and move to the mainland a top priority.

Subscriptions are the money flow, any new owner is going to want the money to flow, I can't imagine it would be longer than for them to get the secure pages up and working to start taking CC numbers. IMO.

I'll be curious about that myself because I paid for 6 or 12 months (I forget exactly, whichever was the longest) right before this all went down.

oh yes I forgot about the "trapped players" hehe let them be free :)

Anyhow if any players are suddenly free I hope they let us know. Poor guy just wants of the island its a credit to the game quality actualy that people are willing to actually wait that's good news :)

meanwhile more suspense music (and maybe one of those betting pools like when a baby is going to be born only this time for a game)

so my bet is we will see news at uh hrm tosses a coin Dec 19 5 p.m. (eastern standard time canada) ....

i think they should give ppl who have stuck it out on the island these last weeks a free month for their patience :)

(although its probably very hard to do easily)

I dont even know the monthly price for the game, so I cant say I really need it.

well it was $15 USD/month, less if you bought longer recurring periods (down to about $12 or $13 a month) which is pretty standard across most largescale MMOGs so I would be surprised if the new buyers wildly deviated from that.

Guess nothing new yet.. well only half the day is gone by in France, and no one said we WOULD hear, souls said 'i expect to be able to say more 12-19 dec' or words to that effect..

Hope to hear what's going on soon, our subs are all running out, is it safe to assume they'll be auto-renewed under the same terms until the transition is dealt with?

I doubt it, since Nevrax can no longer take money from us, hence the halt in new subscriptions. I think that's right, anyhow. So we might all be unable to play
