Come in, pull up a chair, let's discuss all things Ryzom-related.

They were there when we needed them to kill the kitins unleashed by the Fyros, their representatives do a fine job monitoring things for us in their stead.

You linked to the words of Flanagan, a Tryker, that doesn't include your words.

I can only conclude from what has been posted on this thread, that regardless of faction belief, Homins are willing to repeat the errors of the Fyros. Which was to attack the kitin with motives not of protection, but of greed and fear. A greed which drives them to gain resourses from the bowels of Atys to make weapons and arms to use against themselves and a fear that your 'gods' are not able to protect you.

[OOC]

A bit offtopic, maybe, but I could not help posting. We can discuss about the lore and back up our RP and spice things a bit as we have been doing.... recently?. We can have afternoon-lasting dissertations with nerd-like quotes from the darkest lore documets (with all due respect, just being a bit sarcastic, myself included here :) ) but?

What saddens me, when reading about this, is that in more than 2 years of a game who was supposed to last 8 -I know things changed, we are in Ryzom now, we dropped the Saga, and some things and dreams and visions may no longer apply, I live with that- the most intringuing details of the lore remain to be discovered, and, with the exception of a few cases that I, personally consider minor or "side story arcs", the saga seems stalled.

Yes, I know it can be argued --it's a personal opinion, only-- we do have this foo guy who has lost his son, how the bar NPC proposes a rescue mission, the Death of Wyller , the Prince Stevano, Queen Lea, salt and pepper event NPCs, but... "the beef"? what's causing the goo?, who are the Karavan? who are the Kami? where do we come from? when are we going to learn something *substantial* that was not known before? what was the dragon, the somehow mentioned terraforming and ships, etc.? when are we getting some answer elements? I am not asking for a "dump", but to start unveiling aspects of the Game and background that I consider fundamental.

I'm sorry, but "Kitin live in nests and they act in groups" or "There exists the Guild of Elias, the leader being.... Elias" do not count.

To be honest... the current situation could last forever, but I forgot... *Jena is coming* (she got lost, but she is)

Anissa,

Thanks for the OOC, its not off-topic btw. I think we share similar views of the product 'Ryzom' and similar concerns.

Are you suggesting that we forgo training combat and crafting arms? We could all just wait and pray at Silan for Jena to come I suppose. :D

OOC: I don't think that concept will make for much of a game though. :p

Parts of it are in game now, the Ranger camp and the entrance to the Kitin Lair are there. The NPCs don't have missions yet and there is a nice fence in the way so you can't get into the Lair. :(
How much works still needs to be done only the Devs know, lets hope it opens soon.
I wan't to go home. ;)

Jena would not say "Surprise! I got here early just to see who showed up on time."
