I am starting to notice alot of Kami players, some very established High lvl players and many mid range players as well, making the decision to move to Cho in hope of a better life.

I don't want this new, and exhilarating fresh start to become ruined by old grudges. Let Cho be Cho. Come and experience the rush of new life.
Kami and Karavan exist, and are opposed as the Lore has developed, but what I forsee on Cho is nothing like the current stagnant situation on Atys. Remember the days before the K/K wars? Take those days, of newness, and life... but add to the mix the benifits of outposts with their new plans, items, etc. I welcome the Op battles to come, I see them as GvG battles, where faction does not have to matter....
Lets take the good, and leave the ugly behind. I truly believe its possible.
Come forget the worries and problems with Arispotle... come to Cho.
Hi Tommy !
Xyld here.. Just haven't changed my sig yet.
I wanted to thank you for your statements: Let Cho be Cho and especially Leave the Ugly Behind. We've been hearing some of the old mish mash of propaganda on the newbie island and would like to say to the community.. come on.. let's be adults here. This is a new server with a lot of actually new people in it. Let is develop on its own. Just give it time.
Also as Heavyn said, we're getting an influx of ppl from other servers as well, especially Leanon.
So here's to hoping for balance. Makes the game more fun.

I created an alt on Cho just to have a look (also liked the sociological test idea)
and on Silan in region I hear things like: so-and-so just stole someones yelk unintentionally - people saying: Now this one is surely a matis. Greed overcomes them as usual...
Other nasty comments like this...
I am playing a kami fyros on both servers, and am not really going to move over to Cho, even though most of the kami are going there to start anew but such ugly baggage... If Cho will indeed become Ryzom2 where people come to get ready for war... I am not sure if I would like to be there to see it...
Now where is the fun in that?

I'm not a rolepalyer so for me I'd always be a kami sympathiser or neutral. I like their respect for nature and there is nothing I like about the karavan.

I see alot of the original players returning to Ryzom, that is a good thing, regardless of what shard they are on.
Financially its good for Neverax.
It also shows (as I found out personally), there is no other game out there that is as compelling and atmospheric as Ryzom.
As someone said, dont bring Arispotle baggage to Cho, travel light

Well it could be a sort of friendly banter. I know I mean it that way when I talk about the matis but if it's bothering someone it does need to be cut out.

I stay.
And I am happy that we (kami) are the underdog, you know what that means? More PvP for us.
Joke aside, the worst times for me in SWG were when my faction was dominant. It was impossible to find any flagged imp, for love or money.

rushin wrote:I hope Cho is an interesting and fun experience, but i really dont like this comment. It's not very nice for people (and i dont mean just you) to try and drag friends over to Cho, lots of us are quite happy where we are and have way too much time and shared experience invested to move, but if loads of ppl leave its not very nice for us.
There will be plenty of people starting there, no need to scuttle other shards.
Rushin, rushin, rushin. This is a game. People play the game to have fun, many to get a release from the crap they deal with in RL. Arispotle has developed lots and lots of similar crap. Im sorry if you are worried about losing the number of players on Arispotle, but seriously... you can't expect someone to just deal with lots of in-game stupidity because some of you don't want to lose players. Everyone has a right to play as they like, and how will they know what a great experience Cho is, if nobody tells them about it.
I have not abandoned Thom, nor do I expect people who come to Cho from older servers to abandon their main. Let people play as they like, and don't discourage change.
