I voted no as I will stay on Arispotle. It's here all my friends are, and I know our history here.
Would feel pretty silly to start telling a story of what we did a long time ago to a young homin, when none of that has happened on Cho lol

It should be an interesting conversation tomorrow in vent. I don't expect many will be joining. I know of 2 (myself included) that are going to give it a go in Ryzom again. I'm not leaving the game I am currently playing. I plan to split my time between the 2 games. There is still plenty of bi-weekly content being released in that game to keep me busy but a little change of pace would be nice till November (boxed set release is scheduled). The promise of starting a legitimate Kami guild is definately something we look forward to doing.

Wow, I hadn't thought of that yet.

Those poor Cho homins will miss 10 years of their history :(

Hmm.. that raises the question:
Is the lore (timeline) different on Cho or where are these years? Or will Cho be situated in the past - to confuse all of us?

However the answer... Cho will need a seperate Saga forum (and Bazaar anyway).

Actually, good point; one of the major things after EP2 where the servers diverged on was the assasination of Still Wyler and the following election. I'm wondering how that'll turn out and how much both Cho and Arispotle will diverge in storyline.

Actually, does this mean they'll have to make a new part for the Cho lore? Because currently each server sort of has it's own lore section per community and their own differences. (like for instance the different Tryker governors)

Would be interesting to get a note on that.

If seeing the way new servers happen from other games, everyone will rush to Cho for the first few days solely for novelty factor. Then a good portion of them will realise just how HARD it is to start as a brand new character - no brilliant weapons or armour, getting pasted by simple creatures, and so on. Most will go back to their high levels and breathe a sigh of relief. Some will enjoy the change of pace and stay put, and will form its own community.

I gave a "don't know." I'm still on trial area, but I won't be going to Cho myself unless the majority of roleplayers I met there decide to do so. It wasn't a subject that's come up yet but I'll be asking once I get back in. Personally, I don't mind starting out on a new slate with everyone else as I'm new to the game myself, and I have to high level character to go back to and group with old friends. So I have to make new ones where I can.

Well seeing as the Temples are already built I can't imagine them dusting off the scripts for old times sake. It would have been cool to see "Atys' Greatest Hits" rolled out each week at an accelerated pace till Cho caught up to the rest of the shards. So I'm guessing Cho will never have a "Kami Champion" or even a "Karavan Champion". I feel sorta sad for all the new potentials that get to miss out on the old RAIDs, events, stories and whatnot of times past.
