Good call, though, I am pretty sure you are right.
And if people hadn't thought of it before, they have the idea now :P

I don't understand this. So now when someone logs in they will get to choose the currently English server, international server(where English is the language), french server, or german server?

What is the difference between the English and International Servers?

That's probably not the only thing that could skewer things. I somehow raised the point in Universal chat since I wanted to double-check on cross-server trading.

Despite the fact you raise Sehraci, Cho could possibly be a virgin land without the existant 'economy' or playerbase Aniro, Leanon and Arispotle have, ripe for the plundering to whoever or any guild that chooses to powerlevel characters over there with (or without) the help of experience catalysts, and then start hauling in the supreme materials, the Kitin larva, the named loot, OP materials, more crystals, trade it back to the other servers and then dislocate the already fragile economy and balance present.

I do hope Nevrax tought of this when they allowed cross-server trading and then deciding to open up this easily exploitable new ground. Nonetheless, I would really like to hear an official response and elaboration on this matter and how/if they would fight this exploit in the making.

Edit: Gah, dammit Aaj!

Nothing.
Arispotle already is an English International serer, this'll just be another one.

That's the part people are considering "xenophobic". You can use the phase "admitted from both 'communities'" all day long, but that doesn't make it true.

Maybe it is for Ring instances, to allow permanent instances without making the current servers unstable. I know I would prefer to have this type of content tested at a safe distance from my stable Atys :D

The Ring needs to be patched and transfers shutdown BEFORE the new shard opens... can move alot of cats in a couple days...

Has anyone actually tried cross server trading through the ring or is everyone just guessing?

I read (sehr iirc) it has already been done. And there is this "Global Marketplace" thread
