It seems this bunch of L33t G4m3rz TNE (trial and error) took exception to The New Empires Guild name.
Oh dear... They are a bit sad aren't they...
Well it seems that they have not really grasped what Ryzom is all about...
Oh wait ..
Maybe we should all get worried!!

Playing a bit devil's advocate here, and not pretending to sound condescending
As much as I cannot and will not condone the described behavior, I am also wary of one-sided, one party versions of what may have / have not happened.
Not that I am denying that the mentioned things did happen but I am still reluctant whether the "name and shame", finger pointing, shunning, and public mobbing in forums is a Good Thing (TM) or not. It is good as a "heads up" to be warned about what may happen, I understand that to some, the community needs some kind of self-preservation mechanism (vigilante?) but I've seen those players in void and to date, I saw no breach of the CoC, and I will not act upon the mentioned players based solely on your post, or third party "hearsay".
I would dare to say that last thing I want, either, is periodic forum postings with "heads up, bad guys here", without mentioning the fact that wrong accusations may cause more harm than good.
Your notifying of the issues to the GM was, imho, the right thing to do. They have the powers and responsability to act based on formal proof.
The answers "let them come and I'll deal with them" will only foster what misbehaving players may want, conflict. Ignoring them seems to me the best way to act, but let's make sure we do have a valid reason to.

Well said. For what it's worth, the mentioned guild does indeed have a history of ganking and grefing and they have been reported to the gm staff in the past. I was considering removing them from my DNR list but I think i'll wait and see.

yes it is simple to become the agressor and perpetuate the problems that we try to remove. Thankyou for the reminder of this.

Yes indeed. I once played a game where an "annoying kid" turned into a royal pain in the rump becuase of the community ganging up on him. Not that it would happen here mind you, but I watched a misguided kid turn into a complete jerk since noone cut him any slack- to the point that anything even minor "machts nicht" violations were blown up to the point of global thermonuclear warfare...
