If you're worried about losing stuff, make natural decay not occur in Apartments.

I voted "as is" for lack of an "other" option too, but having a decaylayer below normal use wear and tear would be realistic.
You DO wear stuff out by just carrying it, so this wear should only apply to stuff you have equipt.
It should be low though, not more then 1/2 - 1 HP a day.
And the idea of having a few more craftingcredits is good too, be they -% on HP or anything else for more Bonuses.

I selected to keep the armor as it is, because I wear out my gear a lot. I dont powerlevel, but i use my equipment enough for it to wear out at a decent rate, and most of my stuff is excellent or up, be a shame to waste that. Besides, I never know where to go to find a person to craft for me..like, who craft ql 250 zorai maces? I have no idea

by that logic, Stuff from the Karavan should last far longer than anything else on Atys (just how long HAVE those Karavan vehicles been floating there.. and some of them still dont look damaged at all ) .. and from the Kami, if you choose to beleive their gear is still alive.
How does this sound as an option for non-use wear (still not in favour btw)
every time it goes through a teleport, or portal,.. counts as using it.
being disassembled and reassembled allows errors to creep in, and without a self healing system that living creatures have, these errors can accumulate.

I don't like the idea of item that are not use, but are equiped or stored, to have a decay. Mostly because I have items that I consider to be relics, and therefore not replaceable.
Either because they can't be made or bought, like the pre order bracelet and the candy canes. Or items made by players that don't play anymore, I would hate to loose the b/w heavy armour Myna made for me ages ago.
As for general wear, it seems fine to me, but on the other hand a slight change might be okay. (How is that for a non commitment answer?

)

I voted as it is now..
I spend hours and hours helping lower lvl guildies lvlcombat skills..
I go through equipment at an astonishing rate.. but it seems about right to me..
I do see that from a crafters point of view it may help the economy a little if the degrade rate was slightly increased... But i think overall it should stay about the same.
