1024x768 is the most commonly supported resolution for most websites these days. There are still alot of people who use 800x600, but if the site shows well in 800x600 then it should look fine in 1024x768.
The site looks okay, but the right hand "menu" is jsut too wide.

Yeah that's what I'm moaning about... any well designed site *should* be viewable in 800x600 preferably, and 1024x768 at the very least, but this one is not. Apparently though the 1280x is a Firefox thing - you can get away with dropping it down to a whole 1152x864 for proper viewing in IE.
Also (yeah this should be in Bugzilla I guess, but I'm tired and don't feel like waiting up for the pw to come through my email) there are several broken images still kicking around:

Ouch!

I see that there is now an RSS link on the forums, but it seems to be for all forums at once. Is there a feed for each individual forum or at least just for the english forums?

Getting very tired of the fact it doesn't seem to remember my login details from one page to another.
I go to a news page and click the log in to post comments link. I log in. I go back to the page and get the log in link again! This very, very annoying!!!
EDIT: certain links seem to forget, others don't. If you use the News links on the right hand side or go to the homepage it forgets who you are.

you will find it is the setting in your browser....or firewall..that does not allow this information to be retained. Hope this little piece of 'observation' helps.
of course the website can always be improved.

If it was forgetting them on all pages that would be true but it isn't. Certain pages retain the info, others don't. Plus the forum pages don't 'forget' me.
The home page also seems to be slightly more flakey since yesterday's downtime.
