A loong loong time ago Rpgdot.com mentioned that this game is in development.
Nevrax has just come up with a webpage and i was following this game closely since then.

Somone on the SWG forums started a thread about it. I grabed the link before it was deleted, and started reading the FAQ, looking at SS, and reading some reviews on some sites. I am DL the trial now. This game seems to be the closest thing to Pre CU SWG out there. If the game plays as well as it looks, I think I can persuade a few more people to check it out.

Welcome! I agree but in a small way I think it's better than SWG launch because the crafting, while complicated, can be achieved by one person. SWG's system of interdependence-to-the-point-of-totally-wasting-my-game-time (TM) was such a chore. It's a chore here too but at least you can do each thing yourself.

Next, I need a glowing sword so I can be a Ryzom Jedi!

The Client was on a PC Magazine. I joined the Beta back in April 2004. I'll be here in one form or another until the server's eventually close I'm sure.

My brother talked to me about Ryzom when he bought it at the release, and tried to convince me again and again to come and play together... But I didn't want to play at all because I didn't want to ruin my studies.
It took me almost 6 months to decide whether to give it a try or not. In the end though I didn't resist and tried it... and I'm still here today

My old game was going to end Sept 2004, so during the summer I started looking for another game. and Found Ryzom was in open beta the summer of 2004. So thats how long Ive been playing this game. I still have me pre order q 10 sheild, lol that you got by odering the game before it came out.

Errr..well tbh ..I CAN'T REMEMBER!!!Guess I was just surfing a bit around on one of these gamesites.
All I know is that i ended also up in the open beta...And i was sold the first moment I played it .So i decided to order it .After a long week waiting(Something went wrong with the expressdelivery...Wich p*ssed me of so badly since I was sick and at home for a week ) I got the package .And I found my new addiction ...I still have that preorder shield also ;D Shame they didn't gave it some use...

*thinks* oooh, so long ago that i started playing.... Oooh ! right, my dad was playing it, and i thought it looked so pwetty, so i joined into the beta too, and after being slaughtered by various creatures in the galemus area i meet the yubos and fell in love
