well the fact seti is the same account holder as yaffle if theres any harasment report it- the fact is theres nothing wrong with me logging in with my own character!

If Nevrax logging system is half as powerful as one could guess it is (logging transactions, player actions, lost items, chats, automated behavior, etc.) it is an easy task to correlate who did which actions, at what time, using what account and using what IP address.

It is true that IP addresses may be leased by the ISP, but the rate they vary is slow, one could at least get the address prefix, and correlate it to a "normal" "regular account" used.

It remains to be seen if:
- Nevrax is willing to take the time to do that.

- Nevrax can identify the IP address and pinpoint a player account without any doubt (or reasonable doubt, or player admits it, etc.).

- Provided they player can be identified, what actions will be taken. If the player was given login and password without "social engineering", in the context of account sharing between players (A shares with B, B shares with C, etc.) on what basis can a ban be applied? would it be left to "interpretation of the law"? -- personally I think it's a low nasty thing to do, and the player should get a lifetime ban, but because we give some morals to the actions themselves -- A part of me understands Fasi and Kye account sharing as something that, although objectionable, within the limits of friendship ("ack, brother came and I need to cancel the op war declaration, could you?"), while the "thief" was mean and pitiful, but, trying to be objective, what part of the CoC did the player that stole break? is it legitimate to selectively take measures?

That said, I honestly hope something will be done and this will be dealt with. Linking with related threads about punishment and CSRs , I wish we get a "the responsible has been identified and appropriate measures have been taken, he's a goner"... nothing more needs to be said
