I am really hoping that more people will relax and less people will click that unsub button. We all have been through h*ll today and we're feeling bruised and genuinely saddened. But we need to stick together, try to pick up the pieces, and move forward.

So many people saying they are leaving the game is so disheartening for me to see. Most of us know that "today" was just the icing on the cake, but this cake was baked a long time ago. Things have been getting stirred up for at least a couple months ago and what happened today was just the final straw for *many* of us.

I am not leaving. I have taken some actions that felt right for me at *this* time, but I want to see what happens over the next week or so. I want to see if the maturity kicks in on all of us and we all sit down, discuss things rationally, and find *real* solutions.

I honestly think that many of the problems in the community *are* getting worked on now and just need time to get reorganized. This is not a time to leave....it is a time to pull together. I honestly feel this community is capable of doing that.

So let's ALL get past the finger-pointing, the back-stabbing, the accusations and the childishness and try to remember how things used to be. We can bring at least some of that back, if we want to bad enough - but the nastiness has to stop first.

I actually wish that Nevrax would just disable all OP's for a couple weeks while those of us left rebuild old friendships, gain new friendships and just try to put all of this behind us. To heck with fighting over OP's - we need our community back.....who's up for THAT fight?

I am.

Then they wouldn't have known we were "getting rid of the outpost" either.

I was in a team with a member of Omega V at the time. I asked him to check the boards, see what he thought.

I'm gonna leave it at that. I don't want to say what happened next.

I was really hoping you only meant Bye-bye to the forum, Rashan :(
Please don't leave Atys for good, or it'll wither.

just a quick word: usually when someone says this they actually mean a group of people and not "The Community". please think about the injustice that this broad statement does to all those that have never done you any harm and think about wether the number of these outweighs those that did do you harm. :)

What the bloody hell good did that post do?

I made a clear true statement about how it could not be witnessed by folks and you go and attack OV.

Nice 1.

Actually I was saying that it _was_ seen by people, since me specifically pointing the forum post out to someone I was teamed with seemed to be the catalyst for the attack declaration (and the member in question of OV confirmed that he had seen it, and that he was discussing it with his guildmates).

My appologies if it came across as an attack, I deliberately left out bits that _could_ have been considered inflamatory. It was not my intention to revive the flames of the last few days.

Just a note, left out bits of information has been one of the biggest problems this weekend. Maybe except for names, leave it in.

sorry kostika but as far as im concerned that post of yours still looks like a run of the mill auction - no where does it explicitly say anything about role playing events etc etc, in fact it says a new thread will be opened for bids. As it turns out, this is what you were planning on doing, but seeing as the majority of people were not made aware of it - this is the result.
