If the homins in attendance had been watching for assasins instead of arguing, Still Wyler's death might've been prevented... :(

There's a lesson here...it's a lesson we've been taught over and over again, yet there are still those who have not learned...

EDIT: A link to help remember Wyler: http://ryzom.com/?page=lore_races_tryke ... ces_tryker

The assassin used an anti-magic aura as soon as they "appeared", then melee protect + speed to escape.

Yes, I'm afraid we are dealing with an established professional here. Very little could have been done to prevent it even had we known of the assassins plans...

But we WILL get to the bottom of this!

*sets floating candle afloat in Liberty Lake from FairHaven beach*

This day is day all Tryker kind will never forget, our leader Wyler is dead, great homin has fallen. I'm sorry to say I'm at a loss for words, they say a great homin should never shed a tear, but if we dont should what we feel what are we?

I'll cry and watch this candle boat carry these flowers out to other releam. Wlyer you're in our thoughts and our hearts, no one can take your place, but maybe there is another Tryker out there who has followed in your footsteps.

That will be a search for later now let us honor the memories of our great leader Wlyer and all the ones the came before him.

And the other leaders just watched the assassins doing their job without moving a finger?

It happend in a blink, even if somebody was fast enough to identify the assasin and gues the intent, it would be to late :(

well the arguig started after the assasination mostly, and many homins were very quick to get the killer anyways - faster than the guards, i might add :)

But the sad event sort of took the attention from the contents of the contract, don't you think? To me it sounded rather like it was staking out the rules for wars, defining the alliances and such.. most of all it seems guild membership should be worth nothing in case of a confrontation between the nations?

Maybe someone can post the contract in full length soon so we can have a look at it.
