Yep, don't think Alibooma meant to be that exclusive.. it's more an ideological concept.. When you join a game like this one, and you plan to take part in role-playing, you must choose your own way to follow, meaning that if you're only interested in wrestling with others in pvp with no background, you can always randomly choose a side, but if you plan to go deeper in diplomatics and (as i said) roleplaying, then you'll need to make a faction's ideology yours.
And that's what we need the most in the Kami side, as it is reflected by people switching to karavan side for reasons like fun, safe zones for PvE and so on.

I think kamis are far from end still
It's true that many players have gone now from kami alligned guilds, but so has been all the time whole time i've played this game. Some ol' guild s have quitted, but new ones come to surface and old ones merge, that's just natural wheel of gamelife.
Some mourn about turnovers, but i'll say we wellcome new ones like TS to kami circle and make our effort together "on the other side" to enlighten the ignorant and protect values we treasure
Some of kamis are hidden in deep jungle, or nearby cool lakes or desert oasis. Everyone won't make noise as it's said by this tread earlyer, but some day this might change. In that day we might see more what "true" power of kamis are.
Racial and factional debades has been going since start, but every time we bury some race/faction we might get surprise. With FvF implementation this has turned more to faction "power" measurement and homins have forgot all strengt there is beside raw power.
For me strengh of arm is not only strengh one have. Patience, friendship and consentration for ongoing task have allso values on playing community

Are "The Kami" asking for it ? , I rarely hear of any Outpost battles , maybe its just a lack of comunication ?

Dont Fret

I wont take it Personaly. But.... I am a Neutral. Not because im a "non" believer, rather one who does not Follow the Kami or the Karavan. I follow Jena and Ma'Duk. In my Oppinion a very big Diffrence.
OOC: Anyways, that way it does not come too big a surprise later...My guild Dragons of Shadow will be a Kami alligned Guild... eventualy. I have yet to decide wether to allow myself to change over or remain neutral. Not sure yet.

Well, that's mainly because outpost battles are often anounced on Kami faction chat, which you can only turn on while you have the PvP flag on, and that means being exposed to any wandering lvl 250 karavan looking for lvl 60 diggers to hunt...

lol I havent seen the Kami channel since the Old Lands/Temple Building Event , no suprise "The Kami" arent getting in touch with their untagged brothers then
Personaly I dont believe Outposts should be treated as "Faction" (Cult) , I view them as Guild or Race objectives and would be willing to defend any on those grounds or even drive out Foreign Guilds that have taken territory they have no right to

I like your thinking there Pete

Indeed, it seems odd to think the factions would want to capture OPs - especially with Spires inbound. Hmm, I wasn't aware of this faction channel at all, until I read it here

ahhh nail and head situation here
why is the kami faction channel only open while tag is activated?
i find this a bit odd if you are a full blown kami this should be open all the time imo
