well..too bad it wasn't an IC response, but with all the crap surounding it, it is PvP after all. And you cannot please everyone when it comes to PvP..tensions rise, people get upset, people cry the rules are being broken, but through it all we have IMHO a good PvP system. theres a clear choice, and a clear desision to activate a PvP tag, and the consequenses of activating the tag can range from you never see action to a continiuos battle with some really bad feelings going on. People can trash talk, people can "gank", people can run into the middle of an enemy crowd alone, the fact of the mater is theres a choice to do it all. Theres spawn camping thats done by both sides, theres unannounced attacks that are brought by both sides, and theres whining by both sides. The fact still is theres a choice to be involved in PvP.

The matter of spawn camping is a whole different issue that i'm going to make a post about in the general forums because its something that needs to be addressed as what it is, and not crying about it happeneing, But to get back on topic..thanx Vguerinfor clarifying that there is a pourpose to all the arguing, even though you are my "enemy" at least we are on the same page.....we agree that we dissagree and we can freely fight over it without hating eachother...it is just a game after all, and I,for one, enjoy a good battle against the toughest of homins. But on the same hand..when events happen that homin kind must work together, its nice to have battle hardened homins for which to fight with..but when the time is right..fight against once again :D

I wish I could have gone to this but I was doing coursework :(

Can anyone give a synopsis of how it went? ;)

From what I heard of it and saw of it. Matisian guilds were called forward, praised, and sent back to whence they came. I thought it was quite lame. Got fussed at for thinkin' that too.

I saw the first 5 min too, thought is was pretty boring (could be cause I'm Kami...) and then left...
Think you didnt miss something really special, but maybe something happened in the end, I don't know... ask a Matis for it ;)

His kingship did order the Matis loyal guilds not to invade other lands though... something about re-opening diplomatic talks and he doesnt want them spoiling it.

Though it was indeed quite dull for the most part for the non-Matis guilds.

My question to you all - what would you have been doing otherwise?

1)standing around idly
2)chatting with friends
3)grinding
4)trekking

(probably missed some i'm just trying to make a point thats all :) )

for me - most likely im doing 1and2. and if i can do 1and2 AND be in the middle of something happening - then why not? :)

true it was sorta dull, but the last bit with King Irk telling us that he's trying to open diplomatic relations was an important statement.
