Just because there's one member doesn't mean that's all that will show up. Also, as it's been shown before, one person CAN take a level 50 outpost that has no players defending. In any case, I'm with Kostika, this is very shady, and assuming I'm available I'll be there.

Nope, Greenvale Tradepost is in a blue region, so its only 1mil, but I don't know which other outpost the declared war on.

They declared war on the Dragon Order of Abylus OP in Oflovaks Oasis. Thats a level 100 OP. The attack phase starts at 2200

Of course all this might have been a good ruse - If a guild has bad rap, why not declare war from an alt guild and then show up in defending force with the main char(s)...

(Am I winning the misanthrope of the year prize yet? :p )

Sorry brain shatter. Forgot they changed the prices.

It still looks shady to me.

If you have something to spout off about you best now the facts. I personally do not appreciate your interest in stirring the pot.

Let it be known that I consider this to clearly be an attempt at impersonating a guild, and as such will be filing in-game tickets to report this action as harassment.

Noin.

One Question thou... (note I dont Mean to insult the "integrity" of OmegaV, or stir this pot any more than it already is, but facts are Facts)...

For a Guild that is Trying to Prove they have nothing to do with this Omega X, Why then was there no-one from either OmegaV or OmegaX there to defend the Greenvale Outpost? Would seem logical to me and to prolly many others that it would have been in your best intrest to be there in presence to Defend the outpost from the People trying to Give your guild a bad rap....

In your confusion lies the answer... the "people trying to give them a bad rep" are the members of OV themselves. Put in their "defensive" situation the only option to prove something positive (unless Lwiz's thought was right) about themselves was to show up... so to me this means... whether or not OX is an alt guild of OV... their guild rep means so little it's not even worth making an appearance.

Unless OV is playing the "it wasn't us so we have no need to show up" card... which I personally feel would be a flimsy excuse.

This is coming from someone who has been in a situation where my Guild's rep once was questioned... and has worked diligently to get us back to prominence. I'm of the mind if you truly care about your guild symbol you should do everything in your power to fix the problem.

My 2 cents on this whole ordeal...

The attack was staged from 2-4 am Eastern time on a workday. I do think it's a bit absurd to accuse OV of having a hand in this merely because the declaring guild had a similar name. They had nothing at all to gain by doing such a thing, and everything to lose. It's unfair to continue to smear them when not one of you have any sort of evidence that this phony attack was connected to them.

I was at Greenvale from 11:00 PM to around 12:00 AM, and as a result arrived at work at 6:30 AM (my normal start time) rather exhausted and irritable. I would not expect any working adult with real life responsibilities to get up at 2 AM to defend their reputation in an online game when they'd already been in direct discussion with the targeted guild and had satisfied the Dragonblades of their innocence in this affair.

I hope that people will quickly realize how ridiculous this entire affair has become, and give it the attention it truly deserves, which is none at all.

What card, Bri? Oh, wait... "the guilty until proven innocent" card. Sorry man, lose-lose situation.

The truth is it wasn't OV. Period. I would have hoped to be given a little more credit than that but I know we've (OV) made our bed on Atys and we have to lay in it.

But whatever. Conspiracy theorists unite! This is why I lurb the forums.
