Well in said situation it would really depend on my mood at the time. Sometimes i've rezzed those i'm at war with, sometimes i've said no, sometimes just ignored it. It would really depend on the previous minutes and how my day has been. Much the same as if a newbie asks for dappers, do i bite his head off for begging or advise him on the way to get rich, or give/make him stuff? All mood dependant. As my mood can be greatly influenced by other players actions it would in the above situation relate to the manner of the death i had, recent history, and general flow of the game for the past hour or 2.

Regardless of the fact that there were several Karavan guilds defending the outpost, and it was a Matis Karavan guild attacking a Neutral Fyros based guild?
Hi Thlau, no, this was personal insults being flung across the chat, frankly from people that I think and expect to see better behaviour from.
Regarding your observations on the defence of the post....well....the implementation of OP took so long, it caused alot of problems, making friends with other races/prople/guilds because the game heretofore has been so social is only one example of this.

Something else to consider -being Rezzed is a courtisy NOT a rite , its very rare i'll call for a rez myself as mostly i'll think its a deserved consequence of my own foolish/careless actions

I aggree here with Petej. Resurection is not a forced act or act you can demand, it's willingly given gift for other players. Purpose of resurection is show some mercy for homins on trouble, not spare homin for some minor dp dropping.
As a result of Faction/OP wars and behaviour of homins in these battles I've come to conclusion for spare my healing powers only to homins who have some decency among homins and who serve Ma-Duk like I do. Spawn killing and corpse camping is not best way to make friends and i don't have to be friend with homin like this.
Every homin have right to choose his/her friends, so teaming with another faction in faction events, teaming with known griefing homins or teaming with known corpse camper guilds, shows moral standing ground of homin. This brings to me conclusion of how homins of team have chosen and that dictates allso my reaction for pleas of help.
Britlehem got good point of wiev to this matter and i appreciate it, but i think i go bit further and choose not to rezz team who accepts my known enemies.

Now if you want to enable your pvp to see how your enemy will do in different situation (hunting, diggin' etc), that's your choice.
That is actually what I like to know, if my vis-รก-vis is a enemy or friend.
And yes, I consciously take the risk of being killed during such an encounter. So I think it should be legitimate to decide not to rez someone at a later time that killed or tried to kill me before. (Am I right if I assume that this behaviour is what you name 'bear a grudge against someone' ?)

I think Aj makes a good point as far as a case by case basis goes depending on how she feels... more of a "case by case" approach if I'm reading it right?
I know I've rezed people before from the opposing faction... even some I'm in open war with. But it's not based on mood so much as how people conduct themselves while engaged in PvP. Some names that come to mind are... Legion of Atys and Melinoe. Pure Karavan guilds... sworn enemies of the Kami... but I respect the crap out of because they bring maturity to FvF and PvP 99% of the time. Then there is the other end of the spectrum... which I won't even get into with respect to the trolling post.
To sum up... some people make FvF and PvP a part of who their character is... what he / she believes in and they do it well (and Ma-Duk knows it's no small feat)... and others just don't. DT comes to mind... or Ani... people that make you want to fight them because they're fun to go head to head with both RP and on the battle field... not because they've pissed you off.

Here's the way I see things.....
Like some, I have my PvP tag on always, except for the OP battles due to the bug...
We are in a war, I am a Kami supporter, and (and this is the crucial bit), this is a ROLEPLAYING game...
While roleplaying, you should be able to be attacked by the enemy at any time, no? The way the enemy chose to act when they see a defenseless digger with the PvP tag on just shows what kind of character they are playing - some play with honour, others show no mercy...all part of roleplaying.
just because in game, I roleplay that I detest the vile Karavan, doesn't mean that I detest the person sitting at the keyboard playing that character....I just detest that character... I see too many people making this kind of mistake and getting upset over it...
Since this whole FvF thing came in and I came back to the game, I still have a tough time RP'ing the Kami supporter - before I left, I had a few friends who were Karavan aligned...however, I can still chat to them privately if I want to, long as in public, people see the "character" that I am RP'ing the way I want...
back on to the immediate topic, personally, I wouldn't have rezzed the team, only words I would have said would have been something along the lines of "you chose to associate with the enemy faction, reap what you sow..."
But that's just the character that I RP...

Alright, plain and simple, "Liq style". Said Homin came up and nuked you. Now your fellow faction members are teaming with him, and die. Walk over, explain yourself, and that they're disgraceful for teaming with a member of the opposite faction, let alone such a militant one. "Hi, I'd love to help, but you guys are teamed with [kara name here], doesn't look like you'll be getting a res today. Thanks for your patronage."
Edit: Darn spelling!

Just to clear that up, the kami homins in question weren't teamed with the ganker, but the ganker's team had tried to rez them when they died, and died doing so. So I think had they been rez'd, regardless of their beliefs or problems with said ganker, I think they would have rez'd him/her anyway, out of courtesy for him/her trying to rez them in the first place.
I know how I would have reacted, especially given the.. uh.. nature of the ganker concerned, which would have been to give time to the others until the ganker had spawned and then rez them. There's an old saying: "Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself", which should hold true in this situation imo. I wouldn't expect someone I'd just ganked to rez me, in fact I wouldn't even consider asking them to. I'd just take my humble pie, together with the dp, and hope that they would rez others in my team.

Good idea there too Lath, not quite as high road as some of your other comments, but adding time... force them to spawn. Nice.
