At first it was Out of Cavern. My family, my heart, my world to escape to. Then, everyone started to leave and I became casual. But, when I made the decision to leave what is left of Out of Cavern, I went to Reapers of the Dark. Though we have our differences, they are treating me like a family member. I hope Reapers can be to me what OoC was, because they have at least got me playing the game more. I cannot be totally hard-core due to real life, but I am as much as possible, simply because of the people. PvP sux btw.

Had my first glance at Ryzom late 2004. I love it, but due to a serious commitment to another mmorpg, I only stayed for the duration of the free trail. I came back to Ryzom for good last autumn and I'm hooked

I consider myself a hardcore player, tho work is taking up a lot of my time. Actually, I once quit my job just to play my favorite mmorpg (Its true, I did!), which per defnition should place me among the very dedicated hardcore fanboi players

It was a severe case on tonsilitis over New years Eve 2004 and the 1st week of 2005 where all i could do was recover and play ryzom!

Oh and also that man there *points up* and Awaras (a distant memory) got me well and truely hooked!

like others have said, its a second home, everyone has their long term goals of course, their own paths they want to lead, their own stories they want to develop, but thats only a small part of it. the real buzz is getting to meet cool people with totally different personalities, building friendships (and arguements). Spending so many hours, days, weeks and months with a group of people, you become great friends, even logging to drink with them on a weekend rather than taking a trip down the pub with yer rl mates, (killing kinkoo beats a game of pool anyday )

watching people grow stronger/more confident is cool also, and personal progression is exciting too compared to doing the day in day out chores of RL

I've turned from hardcore to very very casual. I used to play far to much, so I got involved in alot of RL stuff to snap out of it. Now I barely have time to play anymore...

I was standing at the heavy armor merchant in Yrkanis...and starting with the words "Greetings homin" I was recruited into the best RP guild I could've been.

So basically the RP made my second character my main, and made me stay.
