I'm utterly confuse!
Are you an American that is upset because someone offended you for being one? Perhaps with racist or anti-americanism propaganda?
(I use the term "American" here as in someone born in the United States of America... We have to remember that "american" actually is anyone born in the American Continent! That is any country between Canada and Chile)
Or are you upset because a person born in the United States of America offended you?
I really, really, REALLY don't care either way... Your reasons to quit the game are yours and only yours! I'm just curious because of your grammar. The way you type/express your opinion indicates that english is not your native lenguage... Or perhaps I should just thank our school system for yet another "IT WELL BE GONE TO THE AMERICANS!!!" moment. If anyone doesn't get that check this
threat here
By the way, I'm really not bashing you for your english, specially if it isn't your native lenguage! After all it isn't mine either... I just don't like being coufused by something like an online post

I find all this anti american sentiment hard to believe... I have never seen anything like it in game...
Perhaps in guild chat where Brock and Dorset get a gentle ribbing.... But they just snap back about Me and Typhooon drinking tea and warm beer so...
Perhaps you should learn to acccept these harmless jokes... as nothing more than a bit of fun... Because I can not imagine anything more than playful banter in chat.
Also I cant really believe that you would be ignored for being american...
It certainly wouldn't have happened in our guild...
Not unless the three Americans that occupy our High officer spots got ignored into theose positions..

an American' for future reference.
thanks so much for your contribution to ryzom, it's been... stunning.

Now that we have plenty of... I'm quite sure there are Drama Kings about too!
In fact, I probably have been accused of such. Oh well, I don't think I am.

i'd like to put my thouhts in as someone who spent quite a bit of time playing wiht pamelak ingame (and i was 'that english kid but i'll get onto that later in the post)
by the time i got around to reading this thread it had been eddited alot so dont' really knwo what was origonally said.
pamelak i can assure you that ther was never any 'anti american' sentiment towards you.. you had a few bad experinces wiht other players stealign your kills which is unfortunate but like i said in game you shoudnt' base your opinions of the comunity on the actions of 2 ppl. also i know you felt that ppl were ignnoring you. again i can asure you that was never the case. just becaus ppl are afk and not responding does not mean they are ignoring you.. also if 2 or 3 ppl are having a very heated discussion so that your 'hi' is not seen is also not ignoring either.
i'm not sure why the wow refernce came into it since i only have the highly eddited 'reply' a few posts back by lemoi to go by. but just to clear things up wiht ppl incase they judge me.. we were havign a conversation abotu other games and WoW came up. i have not played WoW so my opinions are only bassed on htose people i know who have. i told her that their experiance of WoW involved a rather imature player base and that she was likely to experiance more kill steals and player kills than in ryzom so it proll woudl not be the game for her.
pamela it was very nice meating you ingame and i wish oyu all the best for you and your husband in the future.
