As i have now read thru most of the newer posts, i think i've gotten enuf info to post a lil post here too

Most of the threads were i have seem flaming i've seen frustrated poeple trying to get awnsers, an that i have seen a big lack of, awnsers... sometimes they are there an people get more frustrated becos thats not the awnser they wanted, and the tread goes nasty, an sometimes theres no awnsers at all, and the tread goes nastyer

I think the baning is a little helpfull, but it has to be done with a good bit of thought, i read a few of grimjims posts an i can't deny that i agreed with many of them. I also read alot of posts an to me some of it was just spam... an whining... theres alot of not very helpfull whining, and i think that should be wot needs to be done somin bout, that an it might be nice with some awnsers in some of those treads every now and again, might stop alot o the whiners an flamers

these are just my thoughts anyway, dum think banning poeple shouldn't be necesary, sometimes i guess it has to be done, an Xavier has his right an reason to do it i guess...
as long as the problem is pulled up by the root (the right root preferably)

Thanx for all the opinions Ill take this as the majority of ppl want to see better regulation of the forums, but maybe a bit less aggressively than last weeks events. I just hope nevrax are listening

I would prefer regulation of behavior not content. We have seen repeated threads about Nevrax wanting to be "responsive" but when requests or suggestions with regard to what people would want to make them stay, answers or commentary are not forthcoming......ever.

I myself do not understand why a person posting an opinion about things they don't like is banned but a respondent to that post who says "If you don't like it, leave" is not......a person posting "it's people like you...." is not. I have been running forums since the 1980's and never regulated content; I regulate language and behavior such as "in your face aggressiveness", personal attacks and the like. Saying for example "I believe that what JoeBlow has done in this case is irrational" is not objectionable....saying "JoeBlow is irrational" is.
