riveit You are surely driving some new people away. .
Actually saw someone new in region ask why it was empty in majestic gardens last night
When most of the people are in AD and new players running around deserted lands and ghost towns thats not exactly the best of impressions to give either now is it.

Perhaps if Xavier was telling us what was going on and, more generally, Nevrax were doing more to placate or explain then there wouldn't be so much continued negativity.

As been told to me over and over in here you (me), is can't have it both ways. All I was saying is that the draw for that person was the lack of forced PvP. I know that there will be the neutral "you can watch the battles in safety" line, but come on, I can watch fights, auto races, soccer matches, on the boob toob. The fun is in the participation, and not being "forced" to do what you do not want to do. Yes the forums are a mess, yes I am quilty of some negitive posts as well. But the positive posts are also either outright ignored, or flamed as being a fanboy.

Video Conference for NA
Hi,
Is this something that might be of interest? From the website it said that there could be unlimited users in a main conference area. With the NA and other users not able to get to London for a night, wouldn't it be great to get everyone together at least a real virtual get together?

P.S. Maybe they will set it up for you for the advertising of the use of their product.
Best,
Mimir

the fact that the player's perception of the game has changed and that the implementation is late changes nothing about the fact that these pvp features were planned and that they were not implemented in order to jump on the "wow-pvp-success-train" or something

But given the state the community has developed into the implementation of that PvP in its proposed and current state is... 'surprising'.
An MMO shares something with traditional RPGs beyond the obvious. Once you release it, it isn't really yours any more, it develops in its own way through player perception and interpretation. Going against that can be difficult and dangerous.
There's a lot of other things listed that were supposed to be coming along, demolishing a house before you build it may save time but lacks something.
I'm trying to be more positive elsewhere, but I'm not about to stick my head in the sand and ignore the awfulness either.

LoL hes to low level I think to really have any fun at it (pretty sure he'd get creamed by the large numbers of AoDs).

I do agree that the time of implementation and also a bunch of it's details are quite bad. But I'm not really surprised, given that the development had begun even before last november and was halted and delayed time and time again by other projects, which in turn probably suffered from being done asfast as possible to get back on track with the things started previously. (music, mounts, encyclopedia)

"While Nero fiddled, Rome Burned"
Playing a good song and dance isn't going to change anything.
Plus asking that people quit silently isn't going to help Nevrax, whether in the immediate pocket-book or to attract new customers as you add even more to the ranks of dissatisfied former customers who tell people not to try the game.
Beta worked wonderfully to gather new people by word of mouth, and now this game does not. You seriously believe the only reason for that is the forums?
