Yeah the peace thing was weird.
We fought off a kara attack and chased them back 2 camp then we wiped due 2 kinchers and kara, then by the time i get back 2 the PvP zone peace has broken out. But the previous peace thing had been broken by the kara randomly nukin people which left me a little cautious

The Temples will be places of learning but as there is war they will serve as colleges of war primarily, to further the military of each faction. Your actions hastened this effort, you have aided the war effort, and perhaps not equally too. The conflict is for the materials, only harvesters dig these thus are the target for this campaign. Remember too that none die in this campaign aas that faith always brings them back so you crys of killers and murderers are... hollow.

Your efforts aside from being hypocritical to a peaceful stance (promotion of war) Are also in vain to a hominist position as your actions strenghten both factions, weakening any hope for yours, you'd be better served sabotaging the resources so neither temple is built, but such a course is far too radical for folk detached from the reality of their position.

OOC

was amusing, flung suitable war/faction rants toward said homins (all endeavoured to be in character). And as i suspected normality resumed, when folk had enough of standing about and bag filling. feel free to try again but expect by and large hostility, because i'm thoroughly enjoying this event :) .

That's a rather... _intriguing_ interpretation of what happened.

Very small video 5,44mb. Hope it works, I haven't tried the tools or putfile-hosting before. Unfortunately saved as WMV, but viewable in VLC.

Edit: You're right Grimjim. Hopefully someone else have better footage of the event

That was very nice, but it was hard to appreciate how many people there were actually involved in that from that, still, good job :)

There is no conflict for resources! This is lies and properganda (sp?)

There are equal amounts of Shell, Resin and wood!

The centre zone contain SAP and AMBER

Kami want the SAP
Karavan want the AMBER

There is no really reason to fight other than to quench your thurst for blood!

Let the diggers fill their bags, let the places of learning be built!

Let the Kami and Karavan co-exist!

Restore Neutrality - if the other lands had been as wise as the Tryker, 8 places of learning would be being builtn but blind ignorance has made you pick a single view point.

Put down your weapons, pick up you picks and dig for Knowledge. Death teaches you nothing and is a pointless endevour!

Dig for Knowledge!

My hat is off to the organizers and participants of this event.

Don't stop.

Organize yet another event. More people will come. It will spread like wildfire in the hearts of Homins.

I have two large .avi files which I grabbed on the spur of the moment (1 is 12 MB, the other 16MB) They are very short (high resolution) but do capture the number and variety of people at the event

As these turned out a little better than expected: I can make them available ... I won't even hold out for an exclusive with Nexus News.

However I have no idea where I can host them : too large for putfile.com and quick search led me nowhere.
