I am not against PVP. Actually PVP, GVG and FVF was things that seemed so much more dynamic than WoW's simplified model. Until now, there have been very little friction between the faiths and the races of Atys. The war will change that for sure.
Until very recently I played on two Neverwinter Nights servers. Both were PVP and also used PERMADEATH. I understand that a MMORPG would not be successful having to deal with permadeath, but there rarely was any unfair murders on these servers, because you knew that if your character was found out - he had to face the consequences: usually a death sentence. There were also very little metagaming, so the criminals had to be found out in-character.
I don't want to remove the PVP area, not change it in any way. Still too much of a lowbie to have anything there to do, except being a 1200 HP meatshield for the diggers. I do think that the RP'ers would be much more satisfied if the warriors would face some consequences of their actions.
You shouldn't be able to kill a dozen Trykers and then walk around in Fairhaven like nothing happened. Give us some negative impact of the HONOR gained in the war. Make the townguards hostile against high-honor people of the opposite faction!
My critique is: let this game be a game with grey zones again. FAME COST and RIGHT HERE is where you START PAYING (or something like that from 'Fame')
