Again, I don't know from GoC.

However, those who say "dig somwhere else" probably haven't spent alot of time trying to dig Scorched Corridor. I do it sometimes, if I'm feeling mildly suicidal, and want a mat I that isn't in FF. My highest non-dig, non-craft, ability is healing at 170, and because dodge doesn't work very well against mobs, that is of little help(175 dodge, and the only thing I can avoid with any success is a suckling yubo ). Because I have spent most of my time leveling craft, my fight/nuke abilities top out at 115/125, no help there.

Sometimes, if I manage to make it to a spot at all, I can get between 10 and 54 mats, before I die. If they are exe, it is sometimes worth it. However, leveling craft takes thousands of mats per level once you hit 230+ or so. at an average of 32 mats per trip, and DP removal in between trips, it would take rather a long time to raise craft past 240.

Aye, I did that, Baxter's a master digger in jungle too, now.

Basically though, it means you're screwed out of around two months of crafting your main focus though. (one lead branch, the others overcrafted stays fairly even with dig, although craft does start to fall behind).

There is something wrong with a system that is set up so that a single digger can deplete the KT, because more than one person wants to dig. Essentially, I lost months worth of effort, and I must admit, that makes me a little angry.

Again I ask, would it be fair to the fighters/mages if all the level 200+ mobs on Atys were only available for 10 minutes to an hour per day, if at all?

Firstly, as someone who has attained moderate competence in one land, I am NOT going to bother digging q50 zones in any other land, and its a waste of time learning q100 deposit locations also.

on the other hand, the low KT at Dyron offends me, so I dont dig there. Frahar Towers is adequate for my needs for now, although the paucity of Hawkers is an annoyance.

Thesos, Dyron and Kipee Mull are purely asking to be over-exploited so I must assume that this was the Devs intention... introducing a source of contention.
The q250 zones should not be wasted on low level foragers - but this is something that should be up to the individuals sense of fair play and not a commandment from on high (with all the headaches implementing and enforcing such would entail )
Relying on people to behave ethically (and gamers, at that ) is probably not a realistic idea, but deep deep down there are traces of an idealist in me ..

There are many safe places in SC to dig - I'm sure you havn't either a) found how to get to them or b) found them at all.

now you are gone and its still low...
hum there must be someone who digs there the whole day and don't stop digging only to empty his back.. *rolling eyes*.
*and sinful.. here in GoC lots of homins dig at seeds, like yesterday we were digging there with 4 and nobody care about that.. its funny, we talk very much so nobody will geth borred.* well GoC don't have only 1 spot where you can dig, there's a big place at the kami side.. there's a big place at kara side.. and if they both done you can always go to the side of aranakin whats a bit full with agro.. but if you dig with everyone there it should be safe.
and i don't care if someone is using harmfull with a cp .. i mean they are in the game to use it so .. and i don't mind if someone lower then lvl 200 and is digging in GoC... its a game.. games are for fun .. if someone wants to dig there let him go .. maybe he got lots of friends there who knows and maybe some homins will dig his source... so my opinion is that they can do what they want.
