I was told they were very tasty if rolled in saurona seed then steamed over redhot sap for two hours, served on a bed of rice and surrounded with those fine, edible leaves required for missions. This unfortunately is not a meal you can share since the leaves ARE mission mats.

A doctor also told me that she recommended this to people who were going through a heavy bout of introspection.

I am starting ryzom on the free trial, however I have been so frustrated with it that I cannot really play, I want to because the game is incredibly orignal and it has INCREDIBLE art design, but wow, anyway if anyone could give me some pointers to ease my pain I would be forever gratefull.

1. Started with 1 magic 1 craft and 1 forage. I have been trying to get my magic levels up so I can fight things that drop mats I can use to level my crafting, but I am level 8 magic and anything beyond a suckling yubo is extremely risky at best. I know I need better gear, but I can't level high enough to make money, and I can't craft my own gear but thats pretty much problem 2.

2. I can't find materials to make gear, I want to make a decent magic amp because someone told me that it would help, and I would love to make myself some light caster armor, however I can't seem to find the mats I need anywhere, prospecting is such a crapshoot that I'll spend an hour or two looking for fiber for example and I just come up with tons of other mats that I don't need.

Any help would be SO appreciated, I really want to play this game but I just can't right now.

Sounds to me like you could be biting off more than you can chew to start with. Stick with levelling melee or magic to begin with, then when you hit level 50 or so try out some other bits and bobs

Im sure that there will be some generous people around to help you with some gear, but wanting to make your own set of casting light armour just isnt going to happen right now.

Personally, the "fun factor" of SoR increased significantly after I joined a guild, was all I am saying.

Considering that solo gameplay is virtually impossible for anything but digging/crafting, joining a guild is an important part of life on Atys. If you finish your trial and decide to stick around, send me a /tell in game and we can talk about OmegaV.
