Ok, heavy armor doesn't change one bit. The max level heavy armor you can wear is your constitution + 10. The max constitution you can have is your max melee level + 15. Therefore before the patch, the max heavy armor you can wear is your max melee level + 25. After the patch, the max heavy armor you can wear is your max level + 25. Yeah, it's a shame they didn't announce this sooner.

As for medium armor, I concede that they didn't announce this well in advance. But in your first post on this thread, you stated:

philu wrote:Last I heard was that the change to light armour requirements was to be constitution * 2. Suddenly there's a level cap as well.

Could you point me to the thread/news item where this was announced/discussed?

You didn't mention anything about being upset over medium armor changes. You were saying you were upset over the unannounced change to light armor.

I just want to reemphasize that that the new level requirements are MORE strict than the original idea.

System 1, con x2
lvl165 pure forager can wear Q250 LA

System 2, lvl+25
lvl225 pure forager can wear Q250 LA

What's that got to do with you saying they said they were changing all equipment?

I couldn't care less about the changes to medium. Nor to heavy, since as you correctly pointed out the level cap on heavy is pointless.

My point was you said they announced a change to ALL equipment and I corrected you about that. They didn't mention anything EXCEPT LA and jewels.

It's the unnanounced changes which I'm complaining about, MA + HA are just additional examples.

Agreed, we could have handled it better. Our apologizes, we'll try to improve here.

How is this unnanouced? If it was unnanouced we wouldn't find out about it until logging into the game. What you mean "This particular change wasn't discussed as it now appears" - and that is different :) .

Hullo Prof X!

Does that mean that after this patch, it's most likely that any patches after this will be content patch?

Damn, I guess this nickname will follow me forever. :) But it could have been worse! ;)

Most likely, yes. It doesn't mean that we will forbid ourselves to make intermediate patches if there is any issue we want to solve, but the next major milestones are definitely content-oriented.
