I'd be pretty disapponinted if it was the former, since it's not profane in any way, and is used both as slang and also as genuine English. For example, "Cigarette Butt".
I'd be willing to give Lawrence the benefit of the doubt here, and go for the word you both used with one * in it. If I'm wrong, someone needs some serious adjustment to their censorship rules.
Have to say I'm disappointed with that post DT, I appreciate you have issues with ON (and likewise), but there really wasn't any need...
EDIT: Fairly sure it was the word with the *, the other posts have been edited too... it wasn't you at fault philu
Sorry Dazman but you're wrong. There was no word with a * in the part of my post that was censored. It was as you initially surmised the word beginning with B. It was the phrase I linked to that was censored (the one that starts with B and ends with In). As you said it's slang and not abusive - it means interrupt!
I didn't use the word with the * except where I quoted DT and that was edited too. There is no benefit of the doubt I'm afraid. Excessive censorship. That's why I was (and still am) so incensed.
I agree with what you said to DT, which was the point of MY post. DT was out of order.

But Philu, you don't have to be incensed ... you could find it quite funny. As I do! ROFL
Please excuse me for butting in.

I don't mind you INTERRUPTING (don't use the B word!!), as long as you aren't abusive.

Ok, here's my main prospection setting:
Up To Supreme materials
Range 2 (10 meters)
Angle 7 (360 degrees)
Multiple Spots 7 (10 sources)
Accelerated Prospection 5
Knowledge 3
Terrain Specialization (PR, Desert, etc)
Prospection Counterpert 12 (300 Focus)
I have others set up for "up to fine," "choice only," "excellent only," and "supreme only" but the other stanza's are pretty much the same. Also, I use a "self heal 300 focus" after I prospect, then I dig the three sources I can get to before they are gone. By the time I'm don'e with those sources, my self heal has regenerated, that way I am always starting the dig with max focus with no downtime.
Btw, you don't have to have your stanza's all set this high to be effective. Knowledge 3 for example is very optional since most of the time you already know what mat is at that location. Multiple Spots and Angle can also be downgraded easily without compromising much efficiency.

I am really surprised nobody posted:
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
Anyway, is it okee if I take some of this information and work it into the Wiki? I was just busy on an article about this, you see...

I'm not as great a digger as you, but maybe my current setup will be informational.
Prospecting:
range3 (20m) - almost never use the next one up; it finds less not more.
angle4 (90 deg)
choice only (I'm not digging PR yet, so...)
bonus time4 (15 sec)
knowledge1 (2 is pointless and I don't have 3)
lake spec
Foraging:
speed3 - gentle
rate4 - harmful
q120 - gentle
lake spec
I pull 10-11 consistently and usually invoke care planning 2 or 4 times depending on the source.
My level is 115.

Some dig techniques, such as those I've been working on, yield on average less per pull than what has been detailed by others here. However, I think the real "bottom line" isn't mats/pull, but rather mats over time. If you dig for, say twenty minutes - or perhaps time how long it takes to fill your bag - how many mats per minute do your dig techniques yield?

But of course it is not mats per dig, it always is mats per hour that is really interesting. And preferrably of the max ql one can dig, so xp is maxed out and that next lvl is reached faster, cause mats per hour is xp per hour as well.
See, I really need to finish that article about mats per hour...
