Even if the devs don't cotton on to the virtual bar idea, Allyssah, you've certainly done something along those lines for the blokey homins perusing forums =)
blokey was the assumption. Come to think of it, the homin is too
...
And anyway, Myss saw some raunchy zorai fashion at the Thesos bar the other night... Needed some fresh air after that one...
ouh! Virtual clubs? Myss could pull dapper by pole dancing... who cares about q250 diadem anymore!

For example, if you're trying to walk forward, you would randomly turn and/or stop. Likewise, when you were performing actions from your hands bar, sometimes the action wouldn't work or it could even perform the wrong action if you're really drunk. Targeting could also be affected. Now and then your target would just change by itself since drunk people are easily distracted.
In addition to the controls behaving strangely, the system could randomly replace characters in your chat messages to "slur" your speech. The more drunk you get, the more characters are replaced.
This is something that Everquest 1 did. I remember we had a few party where big guilds offer free drink to everybody in the area and then, when everyone was "drunked", a global PvP fight started.
It was a lot of fun. When drunked, your field of view was heaviliy modified (like it was 15° FoV) and everything you type in chat was modified a little.
Also you had a drink skill so that the more you drink the better your skill will become and the more you have to drink to be drunk.
There were a lot ot different type of alcholic, and also there was a crafting skill to "craft" new drink.
Nothing really useful, but funny
