LOL maybe they are going to be like 10 episodes on chapter 2 woot more delays on outpost :p .

Quick precision on this, so you're not disappointed when it reaches live servers: statues ("Halls of Fame") are like the monuments to the soldiers; you have heroes names on it, but the statue doesn't look like the actual soldiers. :)

Kin we gits sum dat be at least generic racial shaped? Sos a Zorai gits one wot looks like an avg Zorai, etc.?

Yea i agree :) civilization statues are important, also it'll be exciting to see more buildings, more homins settling down = bigger cities and towns = more buildings = more places to sitesee ;)

I'm so excited :-)
Beeing my first episode (as I play SoR since 20 days) I can't wait to see what will happen .
I'm sure DEV will do a great job on this episode and I hope there will place even for low level players like me.

only wanted outposts for the content update, i think this sounds far more fun than outposts ever did :)

OK, here's your feedback.

This update is almost pointless, and gives me 3 bits of information:

1) To confirm a bunch of stuff we expected already - actions having an effect on the environment? Woot, never expected that
2) Outpost will be delayed, again, still
3) The Dev shots are receiving more attention that the stuff people actually care about

What the hell is going on with Outposts? In test for a few months eh? Outposts has had no definite or even half-possible release date for months, and now you casually slip in a mention that they'll now come after a feature that depends on them? WHAT? They're chapter 3 now? When did that happen?

Statues, in honour of players eh? Oh I see, statues that look nothing like the players they honour. Not even a freeze-frame of the character, as they look, at the time they were honoured? Wow, what a huge bonus that will be. "I have a statue to honour me, look". "That doesn't look anything like you, it just has your name on it". Yep, that'll work well.

Sorry for the negative post, and sorry to knock people's work, but this update just seems like a big fat pile of nothing, again. I've been keeping my sub open without playing for months, and I'm disappointed I've dragged it out this long. Why did I do it? Because I hoped that things would change, and things that actually mattered would be delivered. Now it's fairly obvious I was wrong about that.

hunh, wait a min, I was sure outposts were next episode a few weeks back......omg a christmas present in the making (christmas 2010 at this rate) maybe the 7 year life cycle of the game they was talking about was the 7 years waiting for outposts :O

good job I couldnt care less bout outposts tho :D

well life goes on, another day waiting for more content passes and our community gets smaller.

cant wait till outpost come tho since they will be bugged to crap as usual and then everyone will have something else to gripe about .......YAY

- What a Ryzom Ring article? we can insist a bit on how we are taking the game to anbother dimension, how players will be able to affect..it'd be nice, but we can't hardly use this to justify the outpost delay, can we? also, we need to insist on the fact that ryzom ring is being done by Steph... by the "Ryzom Ring Strike Team" but Ryzom development is not stalled!! so someone put a new developer screenshot!

- What about just say nothing? they have been waiting for a while, let's hope they will wait for a few months more.... uhm, I don't know...not sure, I think we need to say something.. have you seen the population lately? it's summer, we all know they go to the beach on summer... well, I'd go myself if I had not to debug this outpost code, but players want 'communication', so they will have communication, just remember to be as vague as possible and to not give anything looking like an approximate release date, ok? also, our rite code is a mess, rite development is stalled, we can't produce rites at a high pace, so we'd rather stop them, and remove the half ones, soooo, I don't want the word "rite" anywhere in that section, ok? make sure, use word to delete the word rite.

- Ah, here, here!, we can add 'This new upgrade will contain buildings!!!" you all know, in fact, outposts use buildings, but they are so bugged, that we prefer to test the buildings separately, so players can hold buildings before they can hold outposts'

- Listen, I have this too: 'Players will influence the world, now they will have their names on a PER SHARD BAsis on a statue", let's hope the statue looks better than a entity you right click and select 'View statue' and you get a page like the encyclopedia with the namesof the players...

- Also , the PvP thing 'Want it or not, you'll get PvP. We have a strike PvP team, and you'll gonna have it. We have not developped this racial and faction conflict in our lore for you to love each other, kill yourselves!"

- Ah, and promise rewards, that's always a good thing!!
