I find it annoying that if I go on a large trek that is comprised of more than one team of people, that those outside my team when we travel through pr areas that are not allies and/or a different faction I can't heal especially if the trekking group is ambushed by a large group of mobs which usually results in the whole group getting killed.
That's why I voted Yes.

Would be nice to be able to heal your team regardless of faction.

No vote. Poll is based on a missunderstanding.

This part of Q&A is not about that you will not be able to ress any player who blowed himself while harvesting. Its just you should not be able to leave a battlefield to get a instant heal and TP back to battlefield.

Another point would be that a healbomb would heal not only friends but also others.

Edit: As i understand it, this is not about global state of game. This is about a region of battle. Which one should see somehow as sort of instanced area. Therefore nobody outside of this area should be allowed to heal anybody within this area. At least not for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes everything is like we know it.

I voted yes.
I want to be able to walk onto a battlefield and help the injured, if the urge takes me. The PvP development snapshot, or whatever it was called, said that even neutrals would be targetable with offensive actions if they entered war zones, so why cant neutrals target the fanatics with their helpful actions?

And I really want people to have to deal with bomb heals that can benefit their opponent. Make them think about what they're doing :D

Good answer. Like a war medic. But war medics die too. So if you want to help both sides out of sozial engagement then you have to risk your life as every war medic does.

We could make an ingame agreement. Dont attack healers in white skirts and red tops. While it is forbidden for mages to wear such for camouflage. Like UN resolution about red cross.

I like the idea of being able to heal anyone anywhere, but entering PvP zone of any sort disables your combat actions for a short time period to make leaving the zone for heals impractical.

Only problem I see then is bomb heals healing your opponents too....
Not sure how to get around it but I do think it should be addressed. :p

uh, hello??? battles last longer than it takes for someone to teleport away

why shouldnt heal bomb heal everyone??????????? heal bomb sucks and is inefficient by the way, so you shouldnt be using it to begin with, there is no situation where a healer can heal someone in a PVP zone without risking themselves, except in the case where they stand near a teleporter, in which case you can just make them attackable

They plan to double heal bomb's effectiveness so I imagine it will start seeing more use after that.

Hmm, no :) Indeed, heal bomb is inefficient, but that doesn't mean it has no use at all.

You have 4 members standing in your party, within bomb range, and getting close to death. They are fighting 2 enemies only. All of sudden, you're hit with a large nuke, and have the time to perform 1 more heal before certain death. Instead of hitting just 1 member with a large heal, you could hit all 4 with your biggest possible bomb (taking into account your HP/sap at the time), and their combined strength is just enough to take down the 2 enemies, prepare to heal each other once, and take care of your nuking assasin. The player who nuked you isn't within range of your 4 members, as they were approaching from an opposite angle. Thus they are safe for several seconds, enough to try and get you back on your feet.

Bomb heals for teh win, old boy, bomb heals for teh win...
