Wow...... I suspected people would prefer effort going into raids over outposts. But wow!
So far, about 10% of people agree with the effort they're putting into outposts and PvP.
I hope the devs are reading this and remember who they're making the game for.
While I believe all three of these things NEED to be implemented (they're on the box), I see no reason this poll shouldn't dictate the order Nevrax addresses them. Do they think they know what we want better than we do?
And to make it even more absurd, the option in the lead is practically coded and ready to go already! There have been raids that come close to what people want, so they only need to take it one step further (fix a few bugs and add a few options) and really entertain us. But instead they take the option with 11% support that needs months and months of effort?
I guess I just don't get it. Maybe I'm missing something....

Maybe this?

Id like to start by answering a quick question about the RAID engine. Some players seem to want more of it, or felt that it wasnt used much. We did one event about an invasion last week-end and more are coming up in the event planning, but we dont want to do RAID events only

Awkward one Tember, especially since it probably needs all to make a complete picture.
Rites:- Normally a solo function although not necessarily.
PvP:- Homin versus Homin. Against the spirit of the game where we band together to fight the evil invaders. But who???
Raids:- Wave after wave of kitins, killing - being killed - healing - neuking - winning - failing.
My, what a hard choice. Raids are exciting for a time but do not allow for much in the way of strategy (unless collecting tokens & taking half an hour to exchange them). Stick in a kitin supply line which we could disrupt, kill the commander and then hunt down the remnants whilst getting loot from the supply trains. Include the harvester/crafter element to help fortify the towns but on a simpler, less convoluted & boring way than before.
Pvp/outposts appear to be the only option where we can organise, strategise, ambush, lure, outthink and generally act in a team fashion. If we can build defenses which need to be breached (assaulted as in siege) while pummeling the attackers with mage or range, then I would have to choose outposts. If we had a siege where supplies (food, mats etc) were involved then we could be blockaded for days as used to be the case around about the time I was born.
Yeah, if only. I guess its outposts but with little hope of such sophistication.

RAID, used to be fun. Now it is just something where high level nuke+healers take on a completely overpowered enemy with no risk at all (and lest not get started on the insane race to get to the RAIDs

).
They just appear somewhere and stay there until beaten down, upon which the story continue.
No areas are destroyed, no towns or teleporters are affected. Nothing becomes inaccessable.
Not much difference on RAID and a boss mob, except size and loot.
PvP, never like it and never will. If I want to kill other players I can go play a FPS game or somesuch.
It suffer the same as RAID, it is just there, there are no consequences for anything done (unless it is grief/ganking). PvP all day and all you got to show are some screenshots and worn equipment.
So no contest, I voted rites. Here you actually get some content and a reward. Granted it is a solo reward, but in some cases it can be useful for others (the Fyros armour rites for instance).
Oh dear, it came out as a whining post

Raids are much better when the patrols are AGRO insted of these lame patrols we have been getting in these last 2 events that ignore you unless you attack them first. (Kinchers that dont agro unless you hit them would be nicer in PR then a event

)

I gotta vote PvP
Ive done loads of Rites and they aint been much help

ive been to the raids and as magic said there all the same, nothing comes imposible to get to or anyhting like that
the reason i voted PvP is cos the outposts woll be out soon (hopefully) and PvP will be a main issue to some guilds... if i could vote more than 1 id pick them all but cos i can only pike 1 im picking PvP

Actually, improvements that would go under 'PvP' will address skill balancement problems and will thus help to enrichen pve gameplay also.

Interesting to note that at the moment 88% of the respondents did not vote for PvP. Another interesting observation is that we actually currently have a total of 103% of people responding. If the devs can't code a simple calculation is it any wonder that they can't deliver what they promised? Is it any wonder they don't seem to be able to correct the rites? Might lend credence to the premise that great graphic artists do not make clever or competent games.

think ya might wanna count that again the way i see it, 100% of the 103 people responded
BTW i voted raids, but rites comes a close second as i would like a fully working encyclopedia and imo, the two go hand in hand. (would be a nice sideline when not in the mood for grinding lvls or rping)
