Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I only saw you at the 2nd running of the event at about 1 or 2 am BST. Jyudas and I both attended both runnings, and the 2nd one was *far* more enjoyable in our opinions

Yes, I was only at the 2nd event. I went to the event because friends said they had so much fun at the first one. Looks like some people liked it and some did not, Nevrax can't make everyone happy.

I was at both events and enjoyed both of them equally. The second one was far more of a challenge and was more fun. I missed out on all the negatives noted in Jyudas' quiz and I'd give everyone that I met in both events an "A+" for getting along and having a great time together.
There will come a time when some of the more relentless hecklers will find themselves on multiple ignore lists, and maybe they'll learn then the value of having people able to see their chat... when they're asking for a rez, say, and no one in the area can even see it...

Heh heh. Nice humor
Went to the second event and it was the best i've been to yet.
I thought the players we're generally pretty restrained in terms of attacking random things. We perhaps killed a few more cutthroat patrols than was needed but it was fun.
People got all excited about the event and charged off randomly, especially from Kami Magic Pole. IMHO "Bezzo" did a good job of shaping events, but personally I thought "Rehn", although he played his part well, was too weak a character to encourage a mob of blood thirsty players to stop and listen. But by then it would have taken amazing leadership to prevent the half arse charge into big group of cutthroats that wiped us.
Overall a I really enjoyed the event and it was interesting to see how the more experienced players changed their tactics after the wipe.
Interesting choice of timezone for the event also. I've been playing a fair while and this is only about the 2nd event i've been able to get too (not that this is a complaint).

The quiz isn't only related to the last event (which was run twice, the first run through was a problem).

never made it to any cutthroat events...
when were they on ?
where were they announced ?
where is ANY information about them ?
my online time over the weekend was badly disrupted, but I still managed to check the forums and homepage, and didnt see anything relevant.

There was a MOTD ingame which was very effective at getting me to go (so many timezones confuse me). Something like "All warriors are called to arms at the Avalae gates".
But I don't think it was announced in the forums at any stage. Could be wrong though.
