Mates, I do have a very bad feeling about this. I think I'll follow Raynes and find another place. This one is tearing apart.

You know what rats are doing when the ship is about to sink? Well, I'll let the fambois to releplay the capitan, and I'll just roleplay the rats.
Bye.

I'd flame you but I'm too much of a fanboi to bother so bye bye and don't let the door hit you on the way out, I'm off to play a game....

I think we can all agree on that the patches haven't always been stelar.
In my time as a software/hardware developer and tester I have seen far, far worse handling.

Consider this, they are a relative new company and have been through some bumpy times.
They need time to get a good internal work(ing) structure going (not to mention the ingame gameflow).

With that out of the way, they are improveing. The newest addition of the RFC's is a most welcome sight.
And I still think that they are doing a good job (if you ignore the bumps).

I am so sorry that some of you do not recognize what happenes there atm :(

I do not work for a mmo company, but background, workflows and logistics are nearly the same. All i see of what Nevrax is doing the last weeks is just great and worth a big /bow to DEVs.

I am not a fanboi, i just really know what they are doing.

Of couse and unfortunately this all doesnt matter to an usual player.

I look forward to reading your endless whines on the WoW and GW forums!

Honestly... Have fun and good luck with whatever you do or where ever you play. Paying and not playing for 5 months isn't something I could do. Of course I wasn't waiting around for one feature or another and I was able to entertain myself and have fun hanging out with my friends and guildmates.

As far as "discuss it" threads, I welcome them especially if something actually comes of what is discussed. I'd love Xavier to post "hey, that's a great idea, I'll bring that up in the next meeting!"

[preamble] In my opinion, MMORPG's (at least, those that aren't heavily instanced) are first and foremost community-based. The game - how it looks, how it plays, how it *feels* - is what attracts people to the community, and to some extent it's what encourages them to stay (or not). But for me, I'm here first for the interaction with my fellow homins (both frolicing friends & fiendish foes), and secondarily for the "stage" that Nevrax has set, which helps make that interaction meaningful, challenging, fun, & interesting. That said...[/preamble]

When loud, obnoxious, non-productive, relentlessly negative neighbors move out from the house next door, you need not worry about property values going down. What you *need* to do, is throw an impromptu block party.

I'll mix the margarita's... :D

I love how this community jumps at the opportunity to get one last stab in at a poster they disagreed with. They're leaving the game (at least for now) so let them go gracefully. If you didn't like their company, then you should be happy they're leaving, not flamin 'em.

Anyway, its sad to see you go, Vut. While we did not always see eye to eye, I have respect for people willing to speak their mind, even if its at the cost of being flamed. I wish you all the best of luck in whatever path you choose to take, and maybe we'll see you again sometime :)

I forgot to say good-bye to Vutescu...
Cya, mate! good luck et al. Hope you find what you're looking for.

If I flamed inappropraitely I apologize. It was the heat of the moment, a trigger reflex to the negativity, to the trolling, to the spamming. I didn't see anyone being graceful in their exit and I guess I took it personally. Attack something I care about and you're attacking me. Forums tend to bring out the worst in people. So again, I apologize.

Who care's what content the game has or hasn't got, i'm not exactly a millionare but for 9 squid a month i'll just keep it going no matter what happens.

I also note that i don't think i've seen a post from a new player saying that the content isn't there, only players that have spent the best part of a year of their lives on this game and when they hit their very high goals, decide that the game is crap. I don't think that Ryzom should be blamed for withdrawal symptoms, rather it should be praised for the sort of reaction it creates in people who've got so far in it, then decide they have to leave after completing almost everything so far in the game.

Look on this as a positive...you know they'll be back.
