Pyromaniac anyone? Electrocutioner anyone?.

I actually think that is a good Idea. It would make treks much harder, as learning the other lands skills would not just come all at the same time. It would make it more interesting. Good suggestion.

definatly not :x if that was to happen theyd have to split all spells to there own trees to make it fair and magic has way too many spare sp as it is doing this would make it too much spare sp ;P

That can easily be dealt with...just make the skills more costly. :p

I think all the damn skill trees have ALOT of spare SP as it is...like I'm not a high melee, but I have MORE than enough. x.X;

In that case, a melee who happens to be a high level mage could take on a mage if he resists enough (as long as the mege doesn't have a healer...in that case, the melee better have their own healer. lol).

Though, I do like the idea of the thread...as long as if it's implemented and balanced out. ^_^
This is true with melee and magic though. Your resists go up equally as much with either magic or melee. Your resists are determined by your highest lvl in either magic or melee - 25. So again this doesnt help.

Also, with having a healer there is a disability for melee players as well. An elementalist can turn around and heal their healer real quick and then continue fighting where a meleer doesnt have this luxury. Just another thing to through out ;)

Ah. Very good points. I thought the resists were determined just by highest magic level, so my mistake. lol

And, very true on the 2nd point. That's why I rather stay in LA or at most MA if I'm meleeing. Healing in HA...isn't very good. x.X; Even with enchants, it's a bit hard. :/

How about having amps more specialised ? Instead of 97/97 being the best stats on most things and still having really good stats on all the other things, make it easier to get 100/100 amp in one of the branches (ele, off aff, def aff, heal) and the other 3 quite low (like 50/50)
Wouldnt be so easy for a ele to just throw off a heal mid combat then, if it wasa really slow heal and not a particulary effective one either.
