IMO it should be an stanza with 0 cost to train and 0 cost to put into craftingplan,
that way you can choose if u want to have your name on crafted items or not.

it would be something else if naming a craft would give you bonus on the item, like if
you have more than 2-3 items from the same crafter you get a cumulative %bonus based
on the q of the craftingplan. then it should be ether a highcost in SP(like the powerstanzas Warcry, MPA, etc.)
or a hard to do rite from Kami and Karavan(so that those who don´t want to gain fame from the wrong faction can take the one they need ;) )

I am so confused.


Do these devs think it is a feature to have the name there or a feature to not have the name there?

When there was name, many people voiced their opinion that it should not be shown.

Now this suggestion is implemented in game and now other people complain that name should be appearing.

ya but when it was added was 5 months ago if it was thought to be a bad idea why did it take 5 months to take it out? and will it be 5 months again before we get the option to say yes or no? :x its ok us giving this feedback to you but will we get some feedback ourselfs after to say what decision was made and how long itll take for these changes to take effect? and if its "Soon" (TM) can i start a box and collect 1 euro from you everytime we get told that as an answer? :P

Id like to see the Sellers name optional on items upto base price+100% and mandatory on items costing more

No need for the crafters name at all the buck stops with who ever sells the item

LoL i sell my items well over 100% you have to or your just losing money :x

my prices i set by 1k per q for choice +40k for exc, supreme usually gets auctioned on the forum ;P

Petej did not add reasoning for his good suggestion. I can try mine.

Those who are selling <100% are doing some kind of comminity service by providing affordable jewelry for masses. However, if they sell that jewelry they will pronounce their crafting skills and that will result in tell hell as people know that crafter sells at affordable prices.

This was not issue earlier as crafter's name was visible on item but now it is hidden. Hiding crafter's name does not help if his name is shown as seller. This can be circumvented by using other craracters but that is awkward.

When I think further use cases, maybe there should be checkbox to hide seller's name altogether. That would allow fully anonymous sales but on the other hand reseller markets too. Adding seller's name to products sold above 100% would hurt resellers.

I think it should be an option as well when crafting. Have it w/ name by default but a checkbox or stanza that you add that will allow you to craft the item w/o the name. If you can't do this and it has to be either or I would say include the crafters name.

I have spoken to a couple of people, CSR and players about an idea of mine.

I quite like the idea of having a specific item that only your char can make (be it sword shield armour piece or amp). I think the title of this specific item (if it were a sword) would then be called "<person name> sword".

I got the idea from rewatching the kill bill films. The hatori hanzo sword was something in itself that was priceless and legendary. Having one specific item that the crafter can add a stanza to make the item title. This way the item can become famous and so can the crafter, like hatori hanzo.

I was also thinking about this in that, maybe the name should only apply if the item produced was made by a specific mixture of materials, ie specific stats on the item would mean it deserves the title. Also the race of the item would be specific.

Me personally, if i had the option to do this... Id make the "Alibooma Amp" :D

diggin burning stavon sword of damage hasnt the same ring to it as the hanzo sword :x or the cutting power

but i do agree with the point tho it would be nice to get a race specific weapon of a new design with a name that could go with any players name gained from a rite mission....

i was a bit dissapointed that the rite mission plans were so low grade look, if they were high q generic items with good look to them it'd make more people want to get the plans from the rite missions ;)
