Homins, I bring you the text of the three notes found dropped in yesterday's
happenings:

First note, dropped by ellyssa
-------------------------------------------------

Sir,

I am writing to you to keep you informed of my progress. Pretending to
sell Atys ales such as firewine and Zorai ale to guilds in bulk, I
have approached several homins in the towns of Yrkanis and Fairhaven,
and in the regions of the Grove of Confusion and Lagoons of Loria. It
is indeed a slow process, but I hope you will be pleased with what I
obtained so far. Trykers, maybe given they joyful character, were
willing to give me the information we are looking for; Matisian
harvesters were way more reserved, despite being myself born in Natae.
Please, find below the list of important and influential guilds and
homins. Bear in mind that this list is by no means complete, I should
be able to add more names soon. Some guilds were mentioned, but I have
not been able to contact them, because their members were in the
remote lands of Atys, and their leaders busy with urgent matters.

The Samsara
The New Empire
Evolution
Angels of Atys
The Dragon Order of Abylus
Illuminati
Abyss eye

I will do my best to make contact with others who may be able to help us.

Ellyssa

Second note, dropped by Syndix
--------------------------------------------------
Elias,

I have important news to report. I have spent a few days observing
hominkind throughout Atys, traveling from the towns of Thesos and
Dyron in Fyros lands, to the Void region of Witherings, pretending to
be a trader and a merchant representing a council of guild leaders. It
has been no easy task, for homins are wary and they like to keep
secrecy about their guild leaders, workforce and commercial
activities. Surprisingly, a few would gladly reveal who they worship.

Nevertheless, as you requested, I have been able to observe the
following important, influential and strong guilds:

Veni Vidi Vici
Ballistic Mystix
Infinity
The Soul
Shadows of Dementia
Melinoe
OmegaV

I don't consider my task done, for I did not have time to gather a
complete list of homins and guilds with such short delay. I will
continue to strive to make contact with others who may be able to help
us.

Syndix

Finally, the third note

--------------------------------------------------

My loyal comrade, I ask you today to bring yourself to the light. The
danger is great. I fully understand how big is the risk that I am
asking you to undertake for the cause. I ask you to travel around Atys
in search of the most famous homins and guilds of Atys. Find them,
note their names and the means to join them as I will soon have a
message of the highest importance to transmit to them.

I was able to be one that were willing and ready to sacrifice himself to greater cause and saw in the end Elyssahs escape from karavan hordes.

When our Kami allies called us to ready our arms and head to rescue mission to Lands of Umbra, we were ready and eager.

Seek and rescue/destroy mission for both sides seemed to be more like day stroll in Prime Roots. Kami allies moved like wind thru dangerous lands and nothing prevailed our path to Three Totems Pass. After brief moment of confusion and gathering our strenght, we persuated Elyssah to come with us and seek assylum from lands of Zorai.

We heard in early stage scout reports from southern Lands of Umbra that massive karavan mob was approaching and readied us to take any neccessary means to protect Elyssah. Running like wind we started our trek to back in lands of Zorai.

After short time in our journey we were astonished about the fact that no one chased us. Not a single karavan allie on tail, some minor kitin forces were swept away with haste. In that point we started to suspect some evil trick from sneaky karavans and behold we were right.

We made it easily to Yelkgrove gate and allmost congratulated each other, when suddenly massive force of Homins attacked us from front and rear of our group. They tried to trap us and take Elyssah life before she could reach her haven.

Fierce battle started and poison, fire, swords and death took it's toll. Battle raged long and fierce and in some point all was open... who stands and who falls. Some unfortunate varinxes got in middle of this and were cut down in pieces and blood run like river.

In the end Elyssah was able to made her path to gate with small band of bodyguards and our task was fullfilled. Battlelust still held some Homins but slowly battle started to cease. Kami side has won and karavans had to accept this truth and still wait day to come when they reign.

Some of ye Homins mourn of these incidents, Homins against Homins, but i say "So be it!".
I rather like to see misguided homins to abandon their false goddess and her prophets and enjoy rich nature of Atys and all of it's wonders. But i see now that it's too late. Blood calls for blood and open wound between Kami and karavan supporters can't be healed with words only.

These times need strong Homins. If ye are not willing to grab yer arms and give yer sweat and blood for Kamis, everyone are free to go back in gardening, dirt digging or partying in all those meaningless Homin show offs. I rather ready miself and stand against karavan mobs.
Soldiers are made for fight and fight it shall be.

Yers,

Astovidatu

OOC: Ty for everyone involved about event, it was great! Karavan faction fighted hard and imho it was close call in Elyssah one. It was bit of chaos in some points, but i think it went pretty well thou. I hope next time you give us a fair chace, and don't be so predictable ;)
There was not just the mass of Karavan at our fronts and at our backs to worry about. There was also one, who looked like a friend, and yet tried to stab Ellyssa in the back. Well, it was more cast at her back, but I digress. Good thing that her honor guard was so attentive. *sigh* Now, if only I was a little better trained, I could have done more, but the Lady Ellyssa lived, and I can't help but think that it was in some small part because of me.

Noh
Zorai
stairing off into Infinity
<OCC who ever it was, that was a sneaky move. And I aplaud it! Didnt' look half bad doing it, either *g*>

tylarth wrote:'neutral guild'? the guild of elias are heretics to the Jena faith, these agents were gathering information, what would be called spying in most books. I note that names mentioned were kami aswell as Karavan, have the hasty actions of the Kami to thwart Karavan justice allow criminals to escape to continue their activities against respectable guilds?
Sour grapes because you had your rear end handed to you twice? :)

Your 'friends' the Karavan lied to you. They sent you on a false errand.

Accept you were on the side of wrong and that is why you lost. Accept your defeat with dignity.

OOC: fun event! :)

You have summed up with one word what I fear about incidents like this.

"Side"

Sides are being drawn up and it seems that even neutrals are being drawn in. I will wander the wilderness for a little time longer, meditating on this and other issues. Be wary, good homins.
