WoW (or some other game, but most have gone there).

bordom, slow development, close to no updates, after more than a year even the novelties in Ryzom get old... You can find the reasons in enough other threads.

Half of our guild is gone in the last 2 weeks (me included)

I seen a lot of new players in the last few days i played. Ryzom won't die, the population will just rotate a bit. The new players will have a few month to discover all about Ryzom, although with all the help of the high levels it wont take them nearly as long as it did in the beginning. This is nothing specific for Ryzom, I have seen it happen in every MMO I played till now.

SOR would be the first game I returned to after I quit. I never move back I always move on.

Testing software, not writing it. That is my thing... Besides, my french language skills are very low lvl.... Okee, I can order food when I am in France but that is because I go there for the food in the first place
