Titles tend to have widely different meanings to different companies, and even different countries (for example, british firms generally don't have presidents, they have either a Managing Director or a CEO if their life is all about titles

)
I think Fyrx's curiosity may have been tweaked by the Executive part of the title - however, this may be a red herring

Executive in most businesses/industries would hint at a shareholding position, however when you're talking media (film/tv/games whatever), the title Producer very often has Executive in front of it, and is only a mark of rank, not investment. Most TV shows have Exec Producers, but I'm not sure they have shares in the production companies...
