Nah, rather give them the two days. One can make 1M in two days at any lvl imo. They will even gather some xp :-)

Yeah, I say as so many before me, very nice gesture but ill rather see them spending this money on the game, 2 days aint much for me as a single person but it adds up for nevrax as a whole.

But it was very necessary. How would you know they cared about it had they not made this gesture? The truth is, you can say after it happens they you dont want the days and all, but before hand their is no way of knowing that they would make this kind of move.
Also, by them giving you 2 more days that does not mean that they lose money, they just get the money 2 days later (as was stated). Again this is a smart thing as it means that they get to keep all the players playing the game at least 2 more days then originally planned. Some people may have come into the game and said, 'ok, im only going to play for 5 months and then get out.' Well, now they will be playing for 5 months and 2 days ;) Just another small thing to think about :)

Actually it was NOT necessary.

Article 15 in the EULA clearly states that “Nevrax can in no way guarantee constant and error-free functioning.” This is in the little document we all just click the I ACCEPT button to get to the game.


The offer was above and beyond, for the minimal inconveniences that were incurred. A simple apology would have sufficed.

They have given this in the past multiple times, and you know what I hear from many many people? Whining that they dont do anything about it as it keeps reoccuring. My be saying it was necessary I was not saying that they HAD to do it according to the agreement we accept but that it was necessary in the way that it was a VERY smart move on their part.
To honestly say that them just saying 'sorry' vs them 'reimbursing' us would have held just as much meaing is illogical. I wish it really worked that way as it would be very nice and people would get along better, but truth is it does not.

As far as my part in this discussion. I think it was a great gesture by Nevrax. I was simply stating the purpose of this to those saying they should not have. Maybe everyone here hasnt heard the complaints about the downtime as I have, so I was simply putting it into perspective.

I also am pleased at this gesture from Nevrax. I think they should take back the two free days though. If something actually goes wrong in the future (MAJOR server crash, buildings flooding, act of god, alien invasion, goo outbreak in dev studios) then they can give them to us again. Gods how I wish I could tell them to be ruthless and mean it! :o I just think they're great!

Heh heh. One time they gave us entire week. I twas a distrupted week preceeding though.

So i think it is something they will do from time to time when they think the server down time has been significant enought to warrant it.

Certainly good for customer relations ;)
