Re: The Goo is stirring....evil spotted

Today, as is my habit, I was wandering alone in Maiden Grove doing small task for the residents there. The Kami Ambassador to the Hamazans Of The Dead Seed is always wanting me to hurry to see what is happening in Land's End Farm. Since the farm is near the goo, I decided to try once again but as usual, I could not get past the packs of ragus and torbak that haunt the narrow passage to the farm.
After many seasons in the Grove, I've grown in skill till I fear no creature there that comes at me singly except the most fierce torbak. I've learned that I can travel safely where the herbivores are thickest. On a rainy night amoungst the herds, paying less attention than I would have elsewhere, I almost ran into a new threat. On a path south of Fowling Lake a line of foaming Gibbai (2 star red) were walking with their black heads bowed. I spotted them twice, or perhaps there were two groups. The gibbai as yet do not seem to be a thick as they were years ago in the Grove of Umbra, but these appear to be infected with the goo and far from their normal habitat.
Normally spending a day or two wandering the Grove in solitude calms me, but even after watching the sunrise from the top of the Great Boulder Tunnel I was uneasy. I could only think that the Grove, normally empty of hominin, would be a good place where evil could gather to strike at Hoi-Cho or Min-Cho. A force greater than one lone blue girl will need to deal with this threat.
